  1. would that be worth the extra work. Would i see a difference from just having the port firing towards the rear of the car?
  2. The car is a 1996 buick regal. The gear is an 18 inch fi bl with a sundown 1500d. The trunk is huge so i will be able to get a little over 8 cubes out of it.
  3. I was wondering if it would be beneficial at all to have the port go through the back deck of my car. I was thinking of making the port come up through the back deck where the back window meets the seats. If it would be worth the work i will do it but i thought i would get some opinions from the forum. Thanks for any help!!
  4. so basically just get the measurements right, tune it right, and i should be good. subs and port both facing the rear?
  5. ok sounds good! does it matter how far away they are from the back of the car?
  6. when you say a loading wall what do you mean... sorry im new. do you mean them facing up towards the lid with the port going out the back?
  7. That is what i have been getting from a couple of people. Would you recommend facing them toward the license plate or the cabin. My seats dont fold down.. does that change anything? and if i do have them facing the cabin should i seal the box off from the rest of the trunk?
  8. Hey guys, i have always done sealed boxes with the previous set ups i have had. After going through some of the threads and what not i started to wonder how a ported box would sound on my type r's. i have 2 12's and they are loud enough( but that is what everyone says and then you end up going bigger). but i just wanted to know what kind of design you guys would go with. cause i know most of you are more experienced so i want to hear from you. i drive a 96 buick regal custom and the trunk is pretty big. but if you guys have the same sub or whatever and you feel as if you could help i would greatly appreciate it. thanks in advance -Matt
