  1. Price dropped to $275 shipped anywhere in the continental US.
  2. Up for sale is a TPI 440 Oscilloscope.I bought it right before I started to get real busy with school and I just don't have time to do the work that I used to.This was easily the most important tool in my toolbox. You can do everything you would ever need to with it in car audio, but most commonly it is used for gain settings and finding clipping points of amplifiers and source units.I bought this with a 3 year warranty, and it still has 18 months or so left on the warranty period. Also included is the Autosound 2000 CD from Mobile Solutions, which contains every track you'll need to tweak and tune your system.Everything is in PERFECT, brand new condition.Mobile Solutions lists this combo for right around $400, but I am listing it for $300$275 shipped anywhere in the continental US. In case you've never used one of these and think it's way over your head, it's not.It is extremely simple and easy to familiarize yourself with. There are also dozens of videos and walkthroughs on this forum of how to use this exact model. 5. Sooo my girlfriend signed us up for this Cutest Couple's Contest that is put on by our local newspaper, The Ledger.Bless her heart she's very competitive, but I don't think she realized what all it entails to win one of these things on your own haha. So anyways if I could get some help or participation I would greatly appreciate it.You just have to go register and make a username and password and then confirm it in your email.Take's 2 minutes start to finish, tops.I'm not asking you to cheat. If enough people participate that won't be necessary anyways.I want a fair win So here are the rules as stated in the email she recieved: Thanks for participating in The Ledger’s Cutest Couples contest! The third round has started and your photo is up for voting. The top 5 photos from this round will go on to participate in the final round, Monday July 11 to Sunday, July 17. Let me take this opportunity to remind you of the rules. Everyone may vote once a day. Please do not clear your cache, use different browsers or any other tricks to vote multiple times in one day – we can easily discover this behavior and it will cause any votes from the person to be voided, as per our rules. Many people fall into this behavior when they see another picture has gotten a great many votes in a short amount of time. Know that those photos will go through the same scrutiny. Instead, take advantage of the “vote for me” widget on your photo’s page and send it out to friends and family. Encourage them to vote everyday. Good luck! Vote at www.theledger.com/cutestcouple And here is the link to our picture: Our Page!! I don't know if that is against the rules or not.If so, just let me know.God bless everyone!
  6. Yes sir it sure does. All of the new Power Series Rockford Amps do.
  7. Sold My references: SMD Feedback CarAudio.com Feedback iTrader Feedback on CACO Up for sale is a like new in box Rockford Fosgate T600-2.It was used for about 3 weeks before I pulled it back out because the owner ended up selling the vehicle. It was tuned in with an oscilloscope for no clipping and was way more powerful than what was needed, so it was never pushed to it's full RMS limits.Just for reference, it was used on 2 pairs of Focal Polyglass 165VR component sets.Part of the plastic is still on it because the amp was mounted under a console where no one would see it and to keep it protected from scratches.I only removed the plastic where I needed to to install it.Since it't still like new, I figured $275 $250 shipped was fair. Specs: Rockford T600-2 Web Page Birth Sheet Specs: 243 watts x 2 channels @ 4 ohms 389 watts x 2 channels @ 2 ohms 785 watts x 1 channel @ 4 ohms
  8. I know what you mean, as both of them have had/are having issues and they are on blast right now from just about all their customers that are waiting, you have to take into account that Iraggi and DC probably sell quite a few more alternators on this forum versus Mechman. They both have their own spot on the forum for people to post their feedback and everyone is quick to post negative feedback these days it seems, so you are much more likely to see some one with negative feedback about them versus Mechman.Just saying....
  9. Congrats on the SOTM victory buddy ;)

  10. Sorry to see you go, but happy to see you moving on to what you would rather be doing.I wish you the best of luck with all that you do, and I look forward to seeing you hopefully peeping into the car audio realm from time to time. Thanks for the awesome product that you have made (I've installed about 160 sq ft this week alone) and the support you have shown.
  11. Oh awesome, just the man I wanted to see this I'm in Lakeland, and I used to work at a shop here in town that now deals Hertz, but the owner wasn't too happy about me leaving, and every time I've tried to get products from him he tries to charge me full MSRP.I've really been itching to try out the Hi-Energy XLs, but which set of the DD comps were you talking about?I see they have a few different sets on their website. This guy has been like stuck in the middle of doing an all out just LOUD setup, with loudspeakers and what not, or more of an SQ setup.I keep telling him that it just defeats the purpose of going either way by trying to mesh the two.He wants loooooud ass bass, but I've been telling him over and over that sound quality and "brain rattling loudness" don't really go hand in hand. As far as the batteries, I was thinking the biggest I could fit in the factory spot under the hood, and 2 D3100s in the back, with a + and - 0 gauge run to the back, maybe even 2 of each? Alternator will come from either Iraggi or DC, maybe even Ohio Gen depending on if they got one for this truck. Thanks for all your feedback Ray.It helps to have some one with a shit ton of experience with a whole lot of different companies.I appreciate it.
  12. Hey all.As of recently I've had a buddy of mine come to me with another vehicle. He used to have a Yukon that I did with some Focal Polyglass 165VRs on a Rockford T600-2, which can be seen here: 2007 GMC Yukon Install. He sold the Yukon and bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All of the equipment is still pretty much undecided and can be changed as needed, but I have decided on the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD for the source unit, and I also have a Digital Designs C3b brand new in the box that I may use in this build, as I would like to keep all the amps matching by the same company, and DD has a broad range of amplifiers.Rockford is another option as well. He really liked the Focals and enjoyed the quality, but wanted more midbass, and the tweeters can be pretty harsh on the Focal stuff until you get to the K2 series.I was going to do away with the Focals and upgrade him to something better, and was thinking some Hertz Hi-Energys or even some DD components.Trying to keep the cost around $400 a pair or so, but there really isn't any price restrictions.I was also thinking about some Image Dynamics or some DLS stuff as well, but don't have much experience with either. As far as bass, here's what he's got to work with: There is about 12 cubes easily in the back to work with while keeping it under the seat line.He doesn't care if it goes over the seat line, I just wanted to keep it that way for cosmetics.I am pretty set on doing two bad ass 15s back there in a beautiful box with maybe some plexi and nice inlays in it to show off the motors of the subs, or maybe do a design for him inside of the box with LEDs and whatnot. As far as bass, I've been considering the following: 2) DC Level 4 15s 2) DC Level 4 XL 15s 2) Fi BTL 15s 2) DD 3515s 2) AA Havoc 15s 1) AA SMD 18 Batteries will be XS Power. Not really looking for any input there However, which models and how many will be decided when I decide which sub setup he's going with and which amp to power them.Upgraded alternator will be in the mix as well. If you've taken the time to read through all, or even some, of this, thank you very much.I really do appreciate any and all feedback, especially from those that are experienced with the Focal and Hertz stuff like Ray, James, etc. Thanks again, and I'll be sure to reward all with lots of pictures and videos
  13. I apologize. This goes out to everyone reading this thread.I had to go out of town early this morning for family related issues.I will be back Monday and will ship out/quote all prices then.Again, I apologize, however I cannot put this before family.
