  1. I'm not worried about the epoxy, even though it's thick foil it's still foil. You can pretty easily cut that shit with a box cutter. The foil can very possibly tear. It would have to pull away from the butyl andhesice stuff too but it's just a bad idea. And what's the point? Why not just mount them the normal way, I must have missed this somewhere.

I do agree with you though, it probably won't go anywhere. Just seems like a dumb idea.

  2. That depends on it the phase is a 0/180 switch or a knob that can select anything in between. You can use it to switch the polarity of the subs if you have them reverse mounted, and if it is a 2way switch that is probably what it is designed for. If its a knob that lets you select and anything between 0 and 180, then it's likely intended use was to align the subwoofer phase with the front stage phase.

  3. Did you read the warranty statement? I'd have to agree with a few others that you should figure out for yourself what the problem is before blaming the vendor. Looking forward to see you do an exact repeat test with another battery to see if it drains over the same time period under the same conditions. Document your findings here because we are interested.

But that's not the point he is making. He's already said that he understands that there is probably a draw somewhere. He's saying that his customer service experience was bad. They told him to buy the s3400 from them so it would be in warranty after he described his situation and when his s3400 died they didn't hold to the warranty they said would be with this new battery. He's not blaming XS for the battery being dead.

It is in warranty though, there just isn't anything wrong with the battery. Or am I not understanding something?
