  1. it is louder when playing (0db that is). it's why your gain would be set lower on -10db.

the lower db settings are simulating musical averages. 0db is the loudest recording setting. All the way up. However we all listen to music and know that not everything is recorded at that volume. Sometimes its recorded lower, the lower db settings on the CD are guesses to what that average will be.

  2. If you think they are fast now Steve, get your hands on a higher discharge battery like a 65c or even 100c. Shit's nuts.

I thought it was the number of cells that increased speed? Like 2s, 3s, 4s, and so on and the C was how quickly it can get to top speed. Either way, these cars are a fucking blast.

Or fuck, maybe that is what you are saying...

  3. I just saw this posted on some website...

    4) Voice Coil: The voice coil is a coil of wire that is formed around a cylinder, and is connected to the neck of the cone. It’s responsible for converting the current, which is produced by the amplifier. As a result, a mechanical force is presented, and causes the cone to move.

    5) Motor Top Plate: This is a steel plate, which helps focus the sound from the magnet through the voice coil.

    6) Front Panel Display and Controls: This portion of the subwoofer allows you to control the power. You will need to have an amplifier in order for the controls to work.

    7) Magnet: Magnetized material, which controls the magnetic field that communicates the current from the voice coil to the cone.

8 ) Motor Back Plate: A steel plate that completes the magnetic circuit. It helps control the magnetic field through the voice coil.
