Hey guys, just wanted to share a pic or two of all the PCs I've messed with. Working on Computer Hardware Engineering in school, so I guess it kinda makes sense huh?
I'll start it off with my Apple Powermac G4...swapped the CPU, video card, DVD drive, almost everything out with better stuff. Also painted it Dodge Inferno Red.
Next is my personal PC from a few years ago...acrylic case, AMD 3000+ single core with some nuts overclocking. It was beautiful haha
And a small form factor PC I built for my Dad to run at the front desk of his office:
And my current rig (pride and joy right here...humming along at a cool 4.13GHz)
Let me know what ya think

I like it. I have yet to paint the inside of my Antec 900 black, but I'll get to it one of these days. Nice job on the wire sleeving - it's a nice touch, especially on PSUs that don't have sleeved cables.
-
Corsair psu 10 times better than antec try a tx650 to be safe on future mods to your pc
This isn't true...Corsair is a memory manufacturer and Antec has been in the PSU business since before you were born.

I bought a Kicker KX3 from him maybe 1.5 weeks ago and don't have a ship notification. I'm not too worried, just I'd like to know if anyone has dealt with him before. Thanks!

Perfect test for my new headphones. I bought some Sennheiser HD212 Pros...cranking the thunderstorm recording is insane
-
Yeah, it seems like you'd have to do something to get this to really tear a car apart. Still an amazing song IMO...Jeezy addresses some deep stuff
-
God DAMN
HAHA I love in the 3rd pic down, the lil kid in the background is like oshit please do not eat me
-
well, for me, i have a dell latitude d630. i dont believe mine takes any amount of time for it to happen. i notice it on itunes and windows media player (only 2 i use).
So the sound is pretty bad right away? What about playing like youtube vids and such?
-
If it occurs in more than one program and takes a little while to happen, then I'm 99% sure it's hardware. And you said you're using built in sound, so it wouldn't surprise me if the audio chipset on your motherboard is shot. Yeah, the make/model of your motherboard would be useful here...and I'm pretty sure getting a $30 internal PCI sound card would fix this. If you really wanted you could use an external USB one but that's usually if your budget is really tight.
-
If there's a chip taken out of the motor I would PM Rusty and arrange a return shipment...
EDIT: My bad...kinda jumped the gun here. Pics of what exactly happened will help. Sorry haha got a lil excited

Right off the bat I don't think you'll find a lvl 2 in an 18.

I put this in my thread about the Cat/Subwoofer vid but it really deserves one of its own. Spike Lee is the man. (clip is from Bamboozled, one of his movies)

Haha to him it's probably just some weird back rub.
Found another off-topic vid but don't wanna make a new thread about it:

Update...got an iPod dock so I can charge while playing and so I can pull the audio signal out the analog out of the dock connector. (won't be cliptastic like the headphone port)
Placed an order at Knukonceptz for the following:
-Krystal Kable iPod RCA adapter (x2)...one for going from the iPod dock to the crossover and the other going out the crossover into my iHome (for when I use it)
-Karma SS Y adapter...goes from the sub out on the crossover to the single RCA input on the amp...the idea is to get both L+R signals into the one RCA input so the sub plays left and right side bass
-8ft Kolossus Flecks 8awg black
-8ft Kolossus Flecks 8awg blue
-eKs banana plugs...going from amp to the terminals on the box
I also bought a Kicker KX3 from indytrucks2003...hopefully it'll get here soon enough.
EDIT: Looking at going with a 6" precision port instead of an L port...let me know what you think.

I'd like to see a cat in a Death Penalty 21 @ 5Hz or whatever this vid was taken at...there's enough room in that thing's cone you could probably put in a blanket and get the cat while it's sleeping. (not to be cruel...but you know it would be great)

If it's a repost I apologize...but if you haven't seen it it's hilarious.

go to the anchor bar man, I was watching throw down with bobby flay last night and thats where they were at doin a chicken wing throwdown place looked so good
Yeah haha it's amazing there...Duff's is closer to home and is 95% as good IMO.
-
In Buffalo as we speak...gonna make a stop at Duff's or the Anchor Bar sometime soon just because of this thread.
-
It's a track on The Inspiration...sounds like it gets pretty low for a non-slowed song. Anyone wanna bump this and make a vid? :hairtrick:

just go to a pull-a-part
May do this soon...just wanted to see if someone else had one before I go climb under a Jeep in this weather (~10 degrees)
-
I ordered them from RockAuto...then got a call a day later saying they're on indefinite backorder from the supplier. I managed to find the left rear on eBay and have it here...but the right rear has eluded me for several weeks now.
-
Kind of an odd request...but I put rear discs from a 96 Grand Cherokee on my 2001 Cherokee and I only need the right rear ABS speed sensor to get my ABS back. The discs are great but the lack of ABS in the current weather is a little unsettling. Buying one of these new is looking pretty impossible due to lack of availability, so if someone on here has a parts Jeep out back or something...let me know!

Nothin' like a 454 in a 1500.

I think the CAI could just be a temporary setup...meaning he's running it without plumbing the turbo into the intake yet. With just the CAI the blowoff isn't gonna do anything because no pressure is being built up in the intake. So perhaps when the intercooler piping is in, that cone filter will come off and the turbo will be plumbed to the intake?

Thanks, yeah the little Silverstone SG01 is really light. That one actually has fans with blue LEDs that turn orange once it reaches a certain temperature inside. It's neat stuff.
