  1. Hey guys, just wanted to share a pic or two of all the PCs I've messed with. Working on Computer Hardware Engineering in school, so I guess it kinda makes sense huh? :spiteful:

    I'll start it off with my Apple Powermac G4...swapped the CPU, video card, DVD drive, almost everything out with better stuff. Also painted it Dodge Inferno Red.

    Next is my personal PC from a few years ago...acrylic case, AMD 3000+ single core with some nuts overclocking. It was beautiful haha

    And a small form factor PC I built for my Dad to run at the front desk of his office:

    And my current rig (pride and joy right here...humming along at a cool 4.13GHz)

    Let me know what ya think

  2. If it occurs in more than one program and takes a little while to happen, then I'm 99% sure it's hardware. And you said you're using built in sound, so it wouldn't surprise me if the audio chipset on your motherboard is shot. Yeah, the make/model of your motherboard would be useful here...and I'm pretty sure getting a $30 internal PCI sound card would fix this. If you really wanted you could use an external USB one but that's usually if your budget is really tight.

  3. I put this in my thread about the Cat/Subwoofer vid but it really deserves one of its own. Spike Lee is the man. (clip is from Bamboozled, one of his movies)

    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>">

    cheers

  4. Haha to him it's probably just some weird back rub.

    Found another off-topic vid but don't wanna make a new thread about it:

    name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>">
    name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

    gotta love Spike Lee

  5. Update...got an iPod dock so I can charge while playing and so I can pull the audio signal out the analog out of the dock connector. (won't be cliptastic like the headphone port)

    Placed an order at Knukonceptz for the following:

    -Krystal Kable iPod RCA adapter (x2)...one for going from the iPod dock to the crossover and the other going out the crossover into my iHome (for when I use it)

    -Karma SS Y adapter...goes from the sub out on the crossover to the single RCA input on the amp...the idea is to get both L+R signals into the one RCA input so the sub plays left and right side bass

    -8ft Kolossus Flecks 8awg black

    -8ft Kolossus Flecks 8awg blue

    -eKs banana plugs...going from amp to the terminals on the box

    I also bought a Kicker KX3 from indytrucks2003...hopefully it'll get here soon enough.

    EDIT: Looking at going with a 6" precision port instead of an L port...let me know what you think.

    Port: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...tnumber=268-354

  6. It's a track on The Inspiration...sounds like it gets pretty low for a non-slowed song. Anyone wanna bump this and make a vid? :hairtrick:

    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>">
    name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  7. Kind of an odd request...but I put rear discs from a 96 Grand Cherokee on my 2001 Cherokee and I only need the right rear ABS speed sensor to get my ABS back. The discs are great but the lack of ABS in the current weather is a little unsettling. Buying one of these new is looking pretty impossible due to lack of availability, so if someone on here has a parts Jeep out back or something...let me know! :give_rose:

  8. I think the CAI could just be a temporary setup...meaning he's running it without plumbing the turbo into the intake yet. With just the CAI the blowoff isn't gonna do anything because no pressure is being built up in the intake. So perhaps when the intercooler piping is in, that cone filter will come off and the turbo will be plumbed to the intake?
