Would Damplifier Pro be appropriate to pull everything out of my trunk and do spare tire well and all? Sorry if I sound dumb as its going to be my first time using real deadener lol

No actually I dont want to go cheap with the deadener . I only go cheap with my woofers and amps.

Hey , Im in need of opinions on the best Sound Dampener to knock out the rattles in my trunk and in turn force the pressure forward.

It would have to be 5 inches but its definitely not enough port area .

My phantoms are rated at 1200 rms each and Ive been told they are good for half thats why I was wanting to put 1000 rms to the pair (500 each )

I paid 130 for the amplifier. I could run a second but then it would only be running at 2 ohms which halfs the power again!

Well I was hoping to feed each sub 500 watts rms.... damn it i should of just saved for a AP1500D and been done!

Hey Guys/Gals , As most of you know I have 2 Boss Audio Phantom 15s I am running. I was looking for a budget amp and came across the Hifonics HFI 1000D mono amp. I purchased it already but should of asked for reviews before I did . so lets hear them .

Not to sound dumb but I feel like this thread would be great for new members to read to see that they dont need the best equipment to be appreciated if they put effort into their build

UNDERDOGS RULE! no offense to anyone but I feel more work is put into a low budget build than a smd 18 in a geo doing 150s . I look at it as more of a test of ones ability when working with entry level stuff and making it loud on music

I feel like its more rewarding and competitive to do the most with the least.Its always fun to get someone with a "expensive setup" ( kicker,Fosgate ,ect) and let them hear your xplodes in a custom box that you researched and perfected. I have been told several times when I had my t-line Sonys that I was louder than guys with 2 and 3 12s in prefabbed boxes. Thats what draws me into the audio scene the most. The brands i work with are the most readily available to purchase. so people just getting into the scene can know whats possible and not have to break the bank.
