  1. its really crazy how the different frequencies feel. Justins blazer is pretty crazy, you feel yourself moving so much and its pretty violent. but idk if i would classify it as painful per say. the lower frequencies arent as painful as they are violent is what im trying to say. when i sat in brian butlers ranger, 149 db @ 48-50 hz it was more painful to me. it choked me out and made my whole head tingle. i think woofer placement has something to do with it as well. i think of my setup as more violent then painful but it gives me the same kinda tingly feeling in the 35-40 range. so id say ==> Violent<35 hz<Painful. i realize ill prolly get bombed on for something like that, but its a very general statement of what i have observed.

  2. Basically as title states.... I've just had my new Kenwood screen suffer this fate. I was doing some mods to my enclosure and when I turned the headunit on.... BAM!! Engine whine like crazy! This will be my third Kenwood screen in about a year that has suffered this fate, fortunately warranty is pretty easy for me. But it seems so many failures would raise a red flag as to me doing something wrong. Help me out guys cuz I would really like to prevent this issue if possible

  3. wow ill be the 500th person to say that is one damn clean install.. very inspiring..

question: any reason why you went with xp wire and not fosgate ? how dose the xp wire compare to the fosgate wire ?

I'd be willing to bet part of the reason is cuz its available in blue, fosgate is only red or gray.

Great work man!! Keep it up!

  4. The box was designed so I can slide it in and pull it out if need be. Heavy as hell but two of us were able to move it around and lift it with out too much strain. So much work to do now.

Kinda like oh shit what did I get my self into about 3am in the morning kinda things.

That was a good move on your part. i did mine exactly the same way. i was able to squeeze 36 cubes out of my little explorer like that. box is huge and heavy but fit like a glove. my only recommendation is that you bolt it down really well. if it slides right in that means it will easily slide forward as well. i know your not a noob so im sure youve already thought of this :good:

  5. yeah your most likely right or it just wasnt hooked up yet, never hurts to ask tho. wasnt trying to cause any arguement or anything. was just more curious then anything.

i didnt mean any disrespect man. sorry if it came off that way. i understand trying to figure shit out when youre tired
