  1. My wife made a good point.... instead of shooting her computer, he should have made her donate it after he thoroughly wiped the hard drive

i think shooting it proved more of a point, cuz he showed that his time/money invested into it didnt out weigh what she did. giving it away could make it seem to her that he didnt want to destroy it. shooting it shows her that hes not fuckin around.

  2. just out of curiosity, what is the process to getting this to work without the resin dripping and collecting to somewhere where it shouldn't be? Should be sick!

Once I figure that out, it will be a secret.

Second try. Used much less resin for the first 2 laminating coats. Hopefully just enough to get the two layers to laminate together and dry with no puddles. Once this coat dries, I will trim it down and put the final laminate coat of resin on. This coat i will have to be very careful so not get it too thick and get another puddle.

why not just let it cure laying like this the first time? im a noob at using resin/fiberglass so just curious here

  3. It's not easy and can get expensive. My old boss flipped cars all the time. Sometimes he won big but usually he broke even and occasionally lost money. He had serious connections with body shops and mechanics too so that really helped him. He'd buy a car dirt cheap that needed work and profit big. But another time he sold a car and the tranny went out while the guy was driving it home, so he ended up paying for the tranny and lost big money.

It's very risky and unless you've got connections not worth it imo. People don't wanna buy a car that Joe schmoe worked on. They wanna buy a car a shop worked on.

Another thing he always told me was to flip lots of cheap cars. Like $3-4k and under because the people buying those cars don't care so much about the paper work, so they'd both save a bunch and write that the car was sold cheap and save on the taxes/licensing.

Which brings up another point, you're gonna want to know all the paperwork involved in buying/selling cars private party. As well as the loop holes.

Hopefully this gives you some insight. I paid some attention to what he did cuz it seemed profitable, buy very very risky. Good luck to you if you attempt this. He prolly bought/sold 4-5 cars a month.

  4. whats max width if you guys know? ive got 41" wide and 20" tall til i pass the back seats, 18" to stay below windown line and depth is 30" from back of seats to gate.

just trying to make a plan for a new box. the only downside is that ive deadened the shit out of my explorer as well as window tint. so all that has to be redone..... as long as it has 15s stock my new tires will swap over.

    i just built a box for 4 12's in my 97 blazer 4 door s10. 22in tall 37 wide and 27 deep

  6. Okay guys so I have a chance to buy a late 90s blazer 4 door 4wd for a screaming deal. What's the ups n downs of this truck? It's only got 70k on it. Automatic. Gold with black interior IIRC. I wanna know max dimensions. If my 18 will fit in the cargo area or not. I'm afraid its less volume in the back then my explorer. But it's definitely worth it.

Im looking for electrical issues, mechanical issues, cargo dimensions. Will my two 6500s fit somewhere? I appreciate all the help, as I won't have a chance til later this week to look at or drive the vehicle. It's definitely a cherry though
