But i need more power and im being told that i need to find a pair of amp that we already have at the shop so almost all are amp's max at 1k to1300 so this mite take a little convincing. Good luck have fun. It's a bitch to build a box in a trunk of a car. You will need to pre asamble out side and pre-drill the screw holes. I made a box in a civic for two 15" kicker L7 and had to fiberglass the bottom of the box to the car.

So im looking into running a pair of 18" DC Lvl 5 in my Expedition but i already own a pair of DEI D2600 that only put out around 1,000 to 1,300 watt's. Will this give me a good push on these big boy's? I will be looking for some bigger amp but i need to take it one step at a time. Looking at AQ D2200 per sub. What type of ohm load works better, for these sub? Keep in mind that i only have own Kicker all my life, but i think it's time to move up and play with the big dog's. Tell me what your running your at and at what ohm load they are wire at? Doing my home work on DC sub's, also what is the better air spaces for a ported box for them?
