If they're cheap you could make a giant home theater t-line
That said i'd take the 4 L7's over the 2 solo-x's for daily. Build a bandpass type enclosure with the subs angled (not quite facing each other) and a port in the center back.
He didnt give me no price yet but ill pay 400 for all 4

why would you want to get rid of those solo x's for the l7's another thing we had a convo the otherday and u said u had d2 coils in there and each sub is running at 4 ohms. Like i said the other day, spend the 280 on 2 BNIB D4 SPAIR replacements and then ur subs will get the 2500w rms like they should be getting unlike the 1250 they are only seeing now. ur gonna be throwing another 1250w to them and its gonna get a whole hell of alot louder.
Yeah ur gonna be adding more cone area but imo its not worth it since you really havent even seen the potential those X's even have.
Yeah i understand i just thought it would get louder with the 4 L7s im still going to buy the recone kit. he just told me this morning that hell give them to me cheap so before i go and buy them i thought i would ask first

So my nieghbor just offered to sell me his 4 Kicker L7 12". I was wondering if it would work out if i put all 4 in a trunk install firing towards each other (2 on each side of trunk) and face port into cabin? or would i be better off facing then all upwards.

not to be a dick but i read one of your post earlier and you stated this

Damn i guess its going to be one hell of a challenge to pull one off with this set up. I played a 35hz tone yesterday and its not to loud and after about 30 sec subs started to heat up n smell.....

I'm going to say that a hairtrick on 2 10s out of the trunk is damn near impossible.
Can thorshammer even pull one? He's doing like 153 out of the trunk with 2 10's but they're insane frankenwoofers with like 14kw being thrown at them.
Hell what if i throw in another 2 2500.1 hahaha wont happen but sounds good.

I highly doubt you'll pull a legit hairtrick you'll need atleast 12's tuned to about 33hz to get your peak down and alot of power with a trunk car. but wall it off and it becomes ALOT easier

x2 and what subs are you planning on running man? if you want a 150 with 4 12's it'll be fun and you have to build a good box

All I did really was the box and point him in the direction of what I would suggest as he went. It's a process when building a big system, no upgrade is a small task.
Oh I see. Yeah i heard that nothing is really small when doing a upgrade alot to think about. I know i bugged you alot lol and now my system is what it is

since my car is peaking at 50hz is that because the box? or its just my car period? so would a new box help me? my subs/box dont like anything under 35hz. well its not that loud in my car. please help

no real telling, but generally if you are around 145ish at 30~35hz it should be possible.. but over 150 at those freqs should be almost a guarantee
The htz has alot to do with it huh..Damn my car is peaking at 50hz time for a new box. or would 150db at 50htz work?
