If you are going to order using a credit card it is easier to call, but if it is by paypal then we can do everything via PM. The 3400 is a step up from the 5100 for sure.

Looks like the 5100 will fit with no problem. You just need less than 1/2" length wise to get the 3400 to fit in there.

Both are powerful, but the 3100 does put out more power.

What engine do you have?

The 3400 would fit, but the posts are reversed. The 5100R will fit in there and the post will match up. Yes you can run a upgraded battery with the OEM wiring.

Correct the VCM will bypass the MLA and basically make it useless, but I just wanted to let them know that it can be used with the MLA and they wouldn't have to take it out.

That is a BCI group 65. The D6500 would fit in there fine and give you a big jump in power.

Yes you could bring your voltage down if you wanted to. It does have safetys built into it.

The VCM is not made to work with a MLA.

Are you running them under the hood? The 6500 would be the best fit under the hood, but I need your year, make and model of the truck to find out for sure.
