lol. I just finished a two month wall build of 8 MTX 9500 15”s. I’m sick of working on systems right now. lol. What will probably end up happening is whenever the next comp. is, ill be up the night b4 working on my roof. Im sure everyone here has had thoes nights b4! I plan on getting another 18 soon, so I wonder what the roof would be like then…

None that I know of. I don’t want to go threw the hassle of pulling my headliner down. lol. Maybe ill get to it one day and see what’s goen on under there. Sux cuz on super low bass notes I can hear my roof flexing over my bass.

Nice job dude! It’s always funny when you get family members involved. My family just thinks I’m crazy for making my system louder and louder.

I bet that 28Hz hit those lows like no other. You would probably gain a few dBs if your box was tuned higher though. I have my box @ 32Hz. Does ok on the meter. Solid 145 Bass Racing. But I would take the nice bass lows over it metering good any day. Well congrats on your first meter and maybe better luck next time.

Yeah, Steve’s helped me out allot. Taught me how to fiberglass inside of boxes and stuff. So I had to show SMD some love.

Yeah, im happy with my ZX1000... well until I get my second 18 . Everyone says that kicker amps are under rated. I was sad to see that when I opened my amp for the first time the birth sheet said it benched 1065 watts. :mad: But o-well. It’s pushing my Q hard! Get some deadener in your X. Helped out allot in my truck! I just used weather stripping from Home Dept to do all doors and floor. But I have to do something about my roof. Already snapped my roof rack off. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do besides putting a stripper pole in the middle of my truck. Lol

It’s the 06. So latest model I know of. Pic was taken when I was wiring it up. Only pic I have of it. Most people can't believe how loud 1 18 on 1K watts is. But its mostly about the box witch makes a system sound good. Capable of doen a solid 145 bass racing.

When there installed we need some pix! Thinking of getting some for my X. Haven't decided yet.

Mono amps put all the amplifiers power into one channel to drive a single speaker (Subwoofer). Multichannel amps separate the power into 4-6 channels depending on the amp to run lower wattage applications like door speakers.
