so instead of yellow tops juss buy like 5 red tops since i already have one under the hood

i had a question about that, i have seen a truck that uses three yellow tops and three redtops, and they have no problems...i am juss wondering why you cant mix they both run at the same volts... red for starter and use the yellow for stereo.... also i cant fit dual alts in my colorado and 200 amps is the biggest i can get to fit it so i think the only thing i can do is get a few more batts

ummm no shocker was not close to me and i finally got the system locked in.... subs: 4 15 inch L7's, walled..tuned in the mid 30's sub amps:4 zx1500.1 speakers:3 sets of kicker rs components in the front doors and one set in the back...also a set of kicker ks components and 6x9's in the bed of the truck speakers amps:two kicker kx350.4's for the 4 door sets, kicker kx 150.2 for the bed speaks. HU:kenwood double din visuals: four 7inch monitors hooked up to a ps2, also in the bed electrrical: big 3 done with two runs of 0 gauge, 2 runs of + and 2 runs of - 0 gauge from front to back bat. irragi 200 amp alt.. red top under hood and the bigger yellow top out back. this is going to take me a little whil to do but a build log will be done....any other suggestions of what to do would be appreciated

ok 1 Quesiton bout the 4 15's and 4 zx1500.1's.....i know that nobody can give me an exact number soo dont flame me....with that setup walled in an ext cab colorado tuned to like mid 30's what is a realistic number to shoot for... the reason i am asking is cause the shop i work at we have a few loud vehicles but they are all out spl like 2 18's 15000 watts tuned high, never really delt with any big gorund punders..... now dont flame me like a complet noob, i am not asking how many deebeez i will hit lol, just a rough realistic goal...thnx guys.....by the way it has already begun.....100ft o gauge on the way, fuses, battery, and as soon as i sell my old shit, 4 15 inch L7's, and the materials, then alt, then amps then teh wang-age......then the build log

so the verdict is in, i am going wit 4 15 inch L7's walled, and ported off of 4 ZX1500.1's. im hopin to get round a 148 on music, but if it dont meter worth a shit i dont really care..... i just want to shake the earth... build pics will be posted when i do it this spring......well what u think of this plan, i think it should be good and loud

no man, i guy i work with runs 4 zx1500.1's on 4 12 inch L7's daily and they are fine

so in the spring i am upgrading my system from 4 12inch kicker cvr's off of a zx1500.1, to 4 kicker cvx 12's off of 2 zx1500.1's..... now this is my question for the upgrade i plan to do this summer. what would get louder.....4 15 inch L7's walled lots of cubes lots of port off of 4 zx1500.1's..... or 6 12 inch cvx's walled off of 3 zx1500.1's again losts of space and port....or 8 12 inch cvx's walled off of 4 zx1500.1's tighter on space and port.....or 6 15 inch L7's off of 6 zx1500.1's walled tight space and port..... all of these are going to be walls as u can see...so it will be in an extended cab colorado so i am a little short of space....i'd sat rough estimate of 15-20 cubes absolute most...so which would be loudest or any other option or variations on these setups... and yes i would like to go kicker becasue i can get a extremely good deal on their product.

yes the scenary is great and the bitches are fine, and i am looking forward to checking out the hawaiian car audio scene. and yes it is warm, especially when u compare it to my home, northern canada, temp at home is about -30 degrees celcius.

good news fellas, looks like i only have powertrain warrenty after a year and u know what that means, only like 2 months tell i can get a new alt that only means more time to save, what we be the best place to get an alt from and what is there site, i am thinkin iraggi, what do they have for warrenty and any opinions on quality and realiabilty
