  1. only trades i would consider would be a 5k rms+ amp plus cash on my end actually blew it on the way home from slamo, voltage was 13.5 the entire way guess it just didn't like playing music at .25 for that long. should have wired it back to 2 ohms before i left the hotel.
  2. unless you're really skilled with a router it'd be easier to just to it with a jigsaw slowly and then sand it down.
  3. I was wondering what that case you were holding onto so dearly lol. it's one of my favorites too.
  4. why is it a no no if they're not sharing an enclosure?
  5. 6's and tweeters on the front channels and 4's on the rears is how i would do it. i'm assuming this is all passive.
  6. haha, yeah half of it is completely broken. yeah, the video isn't lying by the way. i beat those 2200's down to 9volts and it still slams. and if you and beatbox happen to see me at slamology, introduce yourselves lol i'm really bad with faces. yeahhhh it's kind of sickening lol.

  10. all the scores i post are kick, it's gained about 4dB at the headrest since you've heard it. definitely doesn't look any better though lol.
  11. yes, there's a saying that goes "your electrical is only as good as your worst ground.". personal experience would be one of my connection weren't soldered, came loose without me realizing and so my batteries wouldn't charge above 12.
  12. how are you getting that with no length or tuning frequency? or did i miss something cause length means nothing when measuring the area of a circle. ................I'm going back to geometry, because I obviously didn't pay attention.

  14. I was just wondering because I noticed alot of people using 5" and 6" for their enclosures. and all I have is 4" port size doesnt matter u can use any port size it all depends on the tuning your trying to get Eh not exactly. Port area has a big role. port size not area. 4 inch 5 inch 6inch etc, you can get as much port area as you need with any of those.
  15. I thought most headunits couldn't play flac and other lossless files?
  16. Thanks man! I will see how much of that i can find on Amazon, the guy above you gave some good links, i will just get more than 1 quart of each. And i plan on hawk eying the fabrication section for the next week or 2, i want to do this right. I just wanted to buy everything first! I use about a quart a panel for five speakers in each door(not counting regular filler), and a gallon of resin but I don't wrap the panel in cloth resin that then do a bunch of layers of mat, I just do one layer of mat and then a bunch of short strand filler. you may also want to pick up a glue gun if you don't have one, personal preference though, should be around 14 bucks.
  17. i use 3m/bondo fiberglass resin and cloth, not mat, and 3m/bondo body filler (short strand fiberglass reinforced and regular) other people use stuff like kitty hair and rage extreme, not sure what the differences are. find some plastic cups and 1~2inch brushes, and a bunch of sand paper. i'm sure i'm missing a few things. here's some links http://www.amazon.com/312-Bondo-Autobody-Filler-Kit/dp/B0007ZE7XY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304478200&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/3M-488-Bondo-Fiberglass-Mat/dp/B000BOA0BY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1304478200&sr=8-7 http://www.amazon.com/Bondo-Brand-Company-272-Glass/dp/B000VKZ3JM/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1304478274&sr=8-6 http://www.amazon.com/AES-Industries-602-Paint-Brush/dp/B0025BZ3GS/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1304478310&sr=1-2 you may want to get some bigger sizes, not sure how much work you're doing.
