Just be aware, that is Copper Clad Aluminum wire and can only handle 250 amps vs Knu's Kolossus Fleks cable that is Oxygen Free Copper which handles 300 amps.
Both are good wire though and the CCA stuff is not as expensive.
Knu as a company is great. They have excellent speaker and rca cable as well. Can't go wrong with anything they make.
alright thanks man im gonna have to order some
-
yeah, its good.
ive got 8' of the knu KLMX if you want to try it out for yourself. not as flexible as this one but just so you can see.
$11 shipped. 0 gauge

Is there any real difference between the different colors of wire? I personally want to go with the black for a better look, but it's labeled as ground wire rather than power/ground.
no the color doesnt make a difference just make sure u dont confuse it with the power
-
oops double post
sorry
its cool i mean i want 0/1 for my power and grounds for the battery but im using 4 gauge for my amps and stuff cause thats all i need

You must be very new to car audio if you have never heard of Knu. And their KCA is definitely flexible enough for most.

i was actually looking at those for awhile and im gonna do a 45degree turn down so its hidden of i had the muffler tip stickin out the bumber it owuld look stupid no offence or anything
-
The problem would trying to find a place to mount it without punching a whole thru the hood I was thinking look at one of these car near the water pump I think there is a small spot or do u think it would be easier to just but a 250 amp apt in place the stock alt
-
hey guys im looking for a dual alt kit for a 1992 oldsmobile cutlass supreme with a 3.1L V6 i was going to stick another alt under the hood for the system im installing here very soon but leave the stock alt to run the car im looking anywhere from 150 to 250 amps please and thanks
-
i drive a 92 oldsmobile cutlass with a 3.1 V6 engine stock intake and stock exhaust for the muffler i was looking at a thrush welded muffler which ive heard and they purr like a kitten but im kinda stuck on what kinda after market intake to install any suggestions
-
man i know the hooptie weights less then the hoe so u wont have any problems at all and from what the video sounded like u walked over and found the problem in like 5 seconds

There is only three wires that make a hu work, 12V constant(usually yellow), ignition(usually red), and ground(always black). You messed with two of the three and then it quit working, that is where I would start....LOL
ok well we are narrowing the problem ALOT by testing it today my friend has the same headunit in his car so we swapped out the headunits and used IS wiring harness and the radio lite right up so obviously its in the wiring and i dont know whats going on with it i might have to just get a whole new harness cause where the guy soldered it the first time it horrible and was making everything stick out so ill do that next and update yall after that
-
its not in the way of the door at all. I can still drive in and out thru that door. The OTHER door has my little woodshop in it so i wont be driving in there very often.
awww thats right it just looks like that in the pictures im sure first car to go up it is the civic
-
well thats gonna help alot plus u will always have that other door to drive the how and Lexus thru since that lift is right there

problem 1 i only messed with 2 of the wires and it was the power to the radio and the ground from the radio nothing else was touched this volt meter doesnt have a remote turn on
-
Sounds like you grounded a power wire out and then possible blew a fuse or you have a loose connection.
i pray to god its one of the last 2 u said cause i have fuses laying around all over the place and im just hoping the headunit didnt fry cause the car show has an audio competition section that im entering
-
did you check all your fuses? lol
i checked the main fuse in the fuse box but i havent had a chance to check the one thats behind the headunit its midnight here so i was wearin down im waking up at 7 to check and go over everything
-
connect it to the battery
then it wouldnt turn off it would stay on constantly draining the battery
has anyone ever heard of this brand or used it
