CJ18 replied to CJ18's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!

Matt, If I were to send you the alt pictured in this post, which is an Iraggi 300 ad244 could you rebuild it to one of your 270s. If so could you PM me a price. I spoke to you the other day and I must say your customer service is second to none. Thanks Cody

THE 1ST DC AUDIO LEVEL 6
CJ18 replied to kevin ribeiro's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Ha doubtful the motor would be 4x the size of the sub. I mean the lvl 5 motor is already bigger than the sub can you imagine the size of a level 8. -

Matt, I am thinking about replacing my dual alts from another company but I want to find out what they are doing at idle and full tilt first. I have a TRMS ac/dc clamp meter, can you tell me how to use it to check my amperage output? Thanks

Line-driver to run multiple amps
CJ18 replied to G_skillz81's topic in Head Units-Processors and Eq's
As posted above just daisy chain them together just be sure to check each set of rcas for there voltage to make sure everything is right. -
http://www.metalsdepot.com/ I got my 1/2"*2" aluminum here. Copper is better but for the price aluminum is great. Just try and buy shorter pieces if you can. Longer ones are cheaper but the shipping is a bitch.

DC 8 Vid added page 4
CJ18 replied to thorshammer's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Ive got me 2 of these cute little guys on the way along with my LVL 5 18s. Should handle the midbass nicely. Gonna put em in a box in the trunk of my car first to test em out until I get around to building a new center console. -
Best amp for a LVL 5 18?
CJ18 replied to mase:)'s topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Unless you plan on giving it at least 4-5k you need to look at a different sub. Look at the american bass 400.1 and 500.1 and the power bass 4000 and 5000. -
subwoofer humming?
CJ18 replied to Swaggasaur's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
When you unplugged your RCAs your HU quit sending signal to your amps which then send the signal to your subs. As said before try grounding your RCAs to the HU. -

Ive got 4 Kicker L7 10" D4 subs. These are about a year and a half old but have only seen 2 weeks of play time. Mechanically I these subs are in great shape 10/10 Cosmetically there are some scratches on the baskets from mounting and from being stored on shelves and being moved around 8/10. One is missing the logo sticker on the back of the motor. Price: $100 ea or $375 for all 4 shipped to the lower 48 states. Anywhere else ask and I will give you a shipping price. Batteries are 3 Stinger SP1500d these are about 3 years old but only used for 1.5 of those. They are in perfect working condition. I will charge them tomorrow and get voltage pics posted. Price: $125ea plus shipping

Looking to possibly replace my current dual alt setup. What do you have to fit a 2006 f150 with the 5.4 v8. My dual is a gm style I think.

noob question
CJ18 replied to HOTDAMN's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
It sounds like you may have your sub wires crossed up. If you have a multimeter check what your ohm load is at the amp -
Yeah its about 1/2" too wide. I have one under the hood now and its a tight squeeze without cutting the factory battery box.
