Yup...double plated sides and triple plated face...going from 2.2 cube to 3.5 on the 5th...box now is tuned to 35 hz..i want to drop it to about 30

I would rather just get some phat matt or something black like that to run around the sides of the window. just drove to work and that bitch pulled straight outta the box..time to double plate it all

Just upgraded from the Alpine Type R and Alpine MRP-500 for Rockford Fosgate P1000bd and Memphis MOJO M3. I have it wired to 1 ohm right now. CES paper from rockford has it rated at 1330 watts. you cant bridge that amp for the full 1000...i think you can

well im gettin this amp for 50 bucks from my roomate..we are trading my kinetik 2400 for his 1400 and his amp plus im giving him 50 dolla my 0 guage for his 4 and i will eventually be pushing it to my memphis mojo m3. this amp is a littl ebig...its pushing about 1300rms but i will just turn the gain down.

its a 4 ohm sub. so i would wire it down to 2 ohm and bridge it off the rockford 1000bd for 1000rms????

just wire it to 2ohm

lets just scrap it all...how would it sound best..with that sub and that amp how should i wire it

Ok i have a alpine type r 12. dvc..i also had a rockford 1000.bd. if i were to wire the sub at 4ohm putting 750rms to it would it sound better(CLEAN and low) than if i wired it at 2 ohm 1000rms? in a 2001 dodge ram single cab

I am beating on a type r right now actually. box dimensions are 18.5 H x 20 D x 16.5 W tuned to 35hz in my single cab...after sub displacement i have 2.2 ft3. alpine recommends 1.75 ft3 per sub but from my playing around with the sub i found that 2 to 2.5 ft3 allows this sub to get down. http://www.youtube.com/user/langsdon2#p/u/0/TREGwU-UaOk
