hey steve my name is shawn and im like a huge fan ive seen like al of your videos lol... but anyways ive just mind boggled lately cause i piut a capacitor on my system here lately but i took the speaker and box out to rebuild and posted a help topic lately and everyone is telling me that i need to take the capacitor off of it cause it can actually hurt the battery ..for some reson idk...what do you think?? and also ive been wanting to do the big three upgrade but some people i talk to tell me that i might burn up my altenator and some tell me that it'll work..please help..

i mean like if i have to i will run it to the frame thats no big deal..but i was just wondering if anyone might know of a good contact point inside the cab.

does the capicitor keep some power from getting to the amp??....do you know of anywhere in the cab that i can ground my amp to without having to run to the frame?

well right now i only have 4 gauge wire from battery to 1.5 farad capicitor to amp..and grounded to seat bolt..

hey evryone my name is shawn and iv'e been doing an install in my 2002 chevy silverado for about two months now...jl 13 w7 d1.5 and a rockford fosgate power 10001bd amplifier..had a box around 1.5 cubic feet and it hit pretty good but knew it could go louder..built box just last week at 3.5 cubic feet and now flex's the windows and panels...wired in series by the way...but just wondering if anyone knows of thing that i can do to make even more louder?? any comments at all will help
