  1. man tell me about it. i was reorganizing my wire, bought a 1/0 cca wire from knu, and got it running from the bat, to fuse, all the way under the carpet of the car, and then to my back and connected it to a distribution block. if i've known, i would had bought the knu's distribution block and fuse holder, cuz it was a pain in the ass to make the wire fit to the block and fuse holder. had to cut down on so many strands, but still had enough it power the subs though. 20 ft for like 40 something i think, and guess what, all i needed was at least 16 ft. xD but what i heard about the cca wire is that they wont last with a more than 150 amp running through. is that true?
  2. congrats man. and if your child is born on december 2nd, that is the same day that my daughter was born in '09. and add an air suspension on the stroller while trying to wall-off the stroller. xD. and from experience, try to stay up 1 week with just under 20 hrs of sleep. lol. i try to get into car audio while supporting my daughter, working full time and school full time. ill make it for sure. best of luck with you and the wife and the upcoming baby. -carlos
  3. XD nice, in a sealed box? --->Fail<--- if he tries to raise up the volume. im love the sound of bass, and i have those rockwood speakers in dual ported box, its pretty loud from the inside, but cant really be heard from the outside. so i think i need a larger box because the air space is not sufficient enough for the port. maybe the box was designed for the previous speakers i had, but the old speakers were not louder than these rockwoods for sure. dam, got to build a bigger box. oh and one more thing, anyone knows where to find carpet for enclosures? sorry for the noobish question, just started in the car audio game.
  4. ok, before you guys talk down on me. lol, i had some rockwood speakers i think they are model XR-4312, and i had them for like 5 or 6 years. so when i had a car, had an amp and decide to hook them up, i wanted to look up the specs for those speakers. next thing i know, i could not find these subs in the internet at all. and when i do, the detail is just a waste of time and not even worth looking at bcuz there are no enclosure requirement for the subs, no rms rating..etc. justa price, max power, dimension, and just the ohm inpedance. help a brotha out. thanks.
