do it the right way. even if distortion and gain is set at 47/50, the gain on the amp will not be set too high where it can be harmful to your set up. then you can listen it at 27/50 all you want knowing that your set up is clean......but not going to be loud unless you crank it up to 47

i got a pair of Zv3 15s with night shade parts that ill let go. i had them in a dual chambered box tuned to 38 and i can play from 30-47hz with zero problems, had it on a RD D9 at .25ohm before it went to protect when i went crazy on the knob. LOL.

i missed all the post here because i do not feel like reading. but when i do read, i will edit things what im about to say if they are covered already. there is no way you can fire the port towards the cabin unless if you want it to sound like crap. crown vics have HUGE trunks that you can fit either 2 15s without space issues or 1 18 without space issues. you can do either 2 things 1. make the sub and port facing the trunmk. 2. sub and port facing up. a guy who i seen in a town car did a 145.XX with just 1 18 on a burp, sub and port facing the trunk. that is pretty good with the seats being intact. and no the seats do not fold down. that is the best ways to make a box like that. btw, DO NOT GO TO KOB CUSTOMS

jl gmax alternator will solve voltage drop issues FOR SURE. LOL. i cant live without a h/o alty now what you have to do to put the after market alt in wont it over load your car never.

doesnt batter if there are 2 batteries, he got a small and decent size battery. he is gonna drop voltage if he has a stock alty. and depending if the amp is power hungry, or how he set up his gain, how he wire down his subs, etc. im aware.. batteries only store energy.. if he runs it on songs with constant slap, then yes, he might notice some voltage drop. all depends on the alternator though. been seeing 120a alternators on jags so far, which is enough for 1200 and shouldnt have a problem banging all day with it. only question is if the subs can take it though. the subs are 1000 watt rms each it going to bee 2400 for my subs and 400 for my door speks with that amp, those subs are gonna see 600watts each before rise/voltage drop.

ya its in a jag it is a good charging sistem but if it drops to much rms gos down to 9oo watts and i need at least 1200 for each sub if you have around 120a, then yes you should be fine with 1200 watts. only way to find out if you dip to the single digits is by bumping that shit. LOL
