    at first, we would be talking shit about that camaro, but what people dont understand is people talk shit about our rides and dont even know it. Like steve, for example, when the local news broadcast his vid with the yellow pages shredding in his shop, have anyone read the comments people said about the hoe? if a person got money to burn, let them be. if i had money to burn, i would do what i want and wont even care what the next person will say because i didnt build that said car to someone else's liking.

    It's does 150 on music and 152 on a burp @46 Hz. We in the south dawgie, we do it in the kick. LOL. Still haven't measured it in the dash, but I will when I join Bass Race/DB Drag in the west coast.

    There are a few of us in that general area, unfortunately my HU just took a shit and don't have anything in my ride currently. When are you coming out?

    just arrived saturday night, been at the hospital with my wife since my son was born yesterday, and should have a rental later today to get me around town.

    and ive been meaning to ask what does it do with the drivers door open on the tl?

    i wish, but i got the plane ticket for half the cost that would had been if i drove my car to cali(just one way). and still havent decided when im going back yet.

    and for metering, one door open is when you are metering in the kick, depending where the meter is at(like if meter is on the passenger, you open the driver door, and vice versa).

    i missed all the post here because i do not feel like reading. but when i do read, i will edit things what im about to say if they are covered already.

    there is no way you can fire the port towards the cabin unless if you want it to sound like crap. crown vics have HUGE trunks that you can fit either 2 15s without space issues or 1 18 without space issues. you can do either 2 things

    1. make the sub and port facing the trunmk.

    2. sub and port facing up.

    a guy who i seen in a town car did a 145.XX with just 1 18 on a burp, sub and port facing the trunk. that is pretty good with the seats being intact. and no the seats do not fold down. that is the best ways to make a box like that.

    btw, DO NOT GO TO KOB CUSTOMS ;)

    To be on the safe side ... the big 3 and alternator upgrade is needed to protect the vehicle ...

    just my sugestion here ...

    alternator will solve voltage drop issues FOR SURE. LOL. i cant live without a h/o alty now

    what you have to do to put the after market alt in wont it over load your car

    never.

    why would your power drop? with two batteries? no?

    doesnt batter if there are 2 batteries, he got a small and decent size battery. he is gonna drop voltage if he has a stock alty. and depending if the amp is power hungry, or how he set up his gain, how he wire down his subs, etc.

    im aware.. batteries only store energy.. if he runs it on songs with constant slap, then yes, he might notice some voltage drop.

    all depends on the alternator though. been seeing 120a alternators on jags so far, which is enough for 1200 and shouldnt have a problem banging all day with it. only question is if the subs can take it though.

    the subs are 1000 watt rms each it going to bee 2400 for my subs and 400 for my door speks

    with that amp, those subs are gonna see 600watts each before rise/voltage drop.

    edit - shit, i forgot, not all the 120a will not go to the amp XD. but most of the charge will be going to the car's electrical. got a point there. been a while when i used a stock alty.

    should be fine. stock alternator?

    ya its in a jag it is a good charging sistem but if it drops to much rms gos down to 9oo watts and i need at least 1200 for each sub

    if you have around 120a, then yes you should be fine with 1200 watts. only way to find out if you dip to the single digits is by bumping that shit. LOL
