  1. Could one of you awesome Admins change my name to GymJunkie?
  2. Yea I was thinking about that but I know I cant wait till october, already been waiting a very long time to be able to play anything new. I will most likely stick with the 6850, for now at least. I could always sell it later when I get more cash for something better. Thanks a lot for the suggestions. If you read he has 2 x 4gb which is 8gb... Also, like others have said, try to get a PSU from a more reputable company as it's something you do not want to skimp out on, considering it can be the one thing that makes or breaks the system. I havent heard much about Ultra except that this particular psu is an extremely good buy (really good reviews). Very glad they steered me this way because I WAS looking at Kingwin and Rosewill till I heard they were pretty bad. I guess we will find out in a week or so if handles decently enough..STILL waiting on the ram to arrive tho, then gonna order the gpu on thursday. EDIT: Something I might want to add, the ram is dual channel, not separately bought.
  3. Well I certainly like the price. The numbers are higher on everything but since Idk anything about GPUs all I can do is assume that means its better in all ways, am I right? Specs on both
  4. Only problem with both those suggestions is I wanted to buy the card this payday so I could start playing my games and I cant afford a $320+ card atm and the 460 appears to be more than required for my games. If you have another suggestion, nVidia or ATI (really dont care), for $180 or lower please feel free to suggest them. Highly prefer around $150 tho
  5. I am going to be gaming so OCing will be something Ill eventually do. And I think I found the GPU I want as well, has some really high reviews by dozens of different people on 6 sites, Im thinking Im getting a GTX 460 for now, eventually go with two.
  6. Have you tried overclock.net yet? I dont like pointing towards a different website but its a great one for just comps, specifically overclocking, obviously.
  7. SO I finally saved enuf money to build a computer to replace my old POS. Its not finished yet but this is everything I needed to get it up and running so Im curious what you all think so far. cpu: Intel i5-2500k with stock cooler/fan (will overclock to at least 4Ghz when I upgrade my fan) motherboard: Gigabyte z68x-ud3h ram: G.Skill Ripjaws 1600Mhz DDR3 (2 x 4 gig) psu: Ultra X3 1000w case: Cooler Master Storm Sniper (no pics of my personal comp) OS: Win7 Ultimate X64 HDD: 3.16tb HDD space (Will get a Sata3 SSD eventually for programs and OS) On board graphics for now, will eventually get a gpu, possibly two.
  8. Ok, just seemed weird to me is all. Ill have to wait till monday to do it most likely now, Thanks again
  9. 93' 5.7l rwd Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, I want to use it in a vacuum hose for carbon build up like I did in my SSEi but I honestly have no idea where the hose I need is in this car, if you want to tell me which area to get a pic of so someone could circle the hose I need Id appreciate it.
  10. Ive always been under the impression that "9 sq feet" meant a sheet of material 9 feet long by 9 feet wide but Ive ordered stuff from other online shops before and it came as 9 feet by 1 foot so I need to know how Second Skin measure their products. Mainly looking at their Damplifier Pro and Overkill Pro
