Got it sounding right now. Just needed adjusting. Ordered new tweeters from crescendo. Thanks for all the help guys.

It's negative goin to amp and positive goin to amp. They workin fine now. Just need to finish adjusting sub amp.

I pulled the subs out and double checked. They are wired right. Let draw a pic to show how there are hooked up. they are wire parallel then wired in a series.

Sublevel is all the way up. No bass boost on amp or deck. Source level normal and eq flat. Just double checked subs and they are fine. Checked ohm load and it reads 1.8 to 2.2 ohms on dmm for all 4 hooked up.

Put eq back to flat. Subs are wired correct. Psi helped me out to wire them. They verified it was correct. They asked for my whole setup and said everything I had was more than enough for the subs.

Im meaning that I'm outside where I can adjust them quickly. I can turn down now.

I really wish I had someone close to me that knows how to adjust this for me. No stereo shop here knows proper adjusting. They don't believe in a dd-1. They don't even know what its for.

I have them wired to 2 ohm. The amps are stable at 2 ohm when strapped. That's how I have them wired.

I adjusted and this how I set the eq. Bass boost off and source adjuster normal. Subs are no where near loud. I have the electrical right. I have a mechman 270, 3 xs power d3100 in back and 1 d925 up front. Amps for subs are 2 DC Audio 2.0k. They are strapped at 2 ohms. Subs are PSI PF1 with high performance upgrades. Dual 1 ohm

I'll turn everything down and reset everything. I'll just order new tweeters from crescendo. My subs I just installed a few days ago. Got 4-18's Psi pf1 with high performance upgrades. I'm pushing em with 2 dc audio 2.0k's.

It does have a source level adjustment. I have it turned up all the way. It has a bass boost also and I have that turned up too.

It just doesn't sound right if left flat but I'm far from an expert. I doubt crescendo will replace them. I guess I'll just order new tweeters.

I used the crossovers they gave me with the component sets. The amp is set to high pass. I'm use a cadence zrs1004 for my highs amp.

Ok so I'm using the dd1 to set my gains on my highs amp and to find where my stereo distorts at thru amp. The instructions say to set stereo eq to flat, I do so and it goes to 32 before distortion. I set my eq where I want it and distortion kicks in so I turn it down and it goes to 15 before distortion. My problem is that I keep blowing my tweeters. I've been threw 4 different sets. I just got 2 new sets of crescendo cz 6.5 components and they didn't last 2 days. Am I doin sumthing wrong?

Well he don't listen to just country but does listen to sum. Just wanna tune it to where he can listen to pretty much anything and still hit hard.

It's kinda hard because it's for a relative that wants me to build a box for one 12 In a jetta. I'm doin one Obsidian Audio 12 with American Bass PH1600MD. He listens to all kinds of music. Just wanna find a good number to tune to for a daily driver. He doesn't want annoying loud but to hit pretty good.

What is a good frequency to tune a box for someone that listens to country music?

Yes every wire I put on does this but it just recently started that's wut concerns me. I had 2-15's L7's in there with 2 planet audio B2B2400.1 and didn't have this issue at all and now that I took it out its doing this.

I just have a cheap soldering iron, no torch. The crimper I borrowed from a local shop but it's the type u have to hit the top with a hammer. Yeah and I have one wire goin to alternator and one goin to fuse goin to amp in the bak. The amp is a cadence zrs100.4 that I have on mids and highs.
