I just got the sundown so ill try it out for a few weeks/ months. that power would be nice. Does Planet Audio put out clean power? I never heard of them.I just need to keep in mind that it takes power to make power.
Thanks for all the help guys! I came down to the conclusion of buying a DC Power 270xp alt, a D3400 under the hood, and a D3100 in the back. Ill get a second D3100 if i need it.
Thanks Skittles. I think those 2 batteries will be fine then. If i need a 3rd one i guess ill get it
I was in that thread too http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/86448-remote-wire-question/page__hl__remote%20wire__fromsearch__1
I wouldnt doubt that. That just makes me more willing and less worried to wire it at .5 ohms.
If I need the extra battery, ill add it. Being in highschool doesnt help my budget (Cant work as much b/c of school and insurance)
Navid trusting the amps is a good point. It's also a new company, so he may wanna lure people from Sundown. Would you even drop in a 3rd battery if I replaced the d3400 in the back with a d3100?
This is a strictly daily system. I doubt ill mind the fans. I'll hook them up to a switch. I just wanna end up around 1 ohm so I "get what I pay for" lol
I don't have the batteries yet, and the D3100 has about twice the aH as the D3400 and is cheaper. Also, doesn't each extra battery but about an additional 5 amp load on the electrical?
Dc level 4 XLs
Edit: I didn't read the last sentence..my bad. I also don't know too much about the sub brands you posted. One thing I do know is that the Audioque will be fine at .5 if you have the right electrical.
