  1. 85128 Would lvl 2 10's be better then the 12's I have? Or would 1 12 with higher power be better.... That is my question really...
  2. I need some help with what sub or subs to buy for my next install... I will have around 3 cubes to work with. 1200 watts I currently have 2 12" JL W3's and they are ok in a 3.5 box but I feel the DC will outperform them. I wanted to get some space back in my trunk....and 3.5 is just a bit to large for my liking. Figure max of 3 cubes would give me just a little back. Lastly I listen to lower bass music such as Dj Magic Mike / Young Jeezy / Bass Mekanik etc etc So here is the question... 2 10's 1 12 I was thinking with 1200 watts (Rockford Power series) that I can do a 12" DC lvl 4. But then I thought maybe 2 10's? Also, they are going into a 2008 Civic SI coupe. This will be a daily driver. I currently have the big 3 done with KnuKonceptz 1/0 full copper wiring. 1/0 also going to a distro, then 4gauge to the amps. Optima Yellow top in stock location. Alpine CDA9997 in dash. What do you guys recommend? I really want a good balance of feeling the music and it getting loud. I would at least like to beat out the subs I have now.... I have done some google searches, youtube, and even emailed DC. They even recommened maybe a 15, but I do not think I have the clearance for that. Really looking for ideas here.....and even maybe someone with a car similar and what they did. And keep the videos coming DC!! The Thorhammer videos are killer!
  3. If you did a backup, you could always restore the PM's in the database New forum looks good though!
  4. I have no issues waiting if that is the procedure. I didnt know is all. I have an email and PM in, I can wait on those.
  5. Ohh..... didnt know that. Just got turned on to Dc Audio. My apologies.
  6. Hey guys, just looking for a rough estimate how much the 15" Level 3's are.... I emailed the sales and PM'd Rusty with no response. Im sure they are just busy, but I want to start building a box and need to know if these are the speakers im going to end up purchasing. Anyone help me out?
  7. Yea Im doing 2 15's. I tried the calculator above and it was pretty nice. Although I have never done a ported box before so will probably be on here asking questions making sure I get it right.
  8. OMG...I am sorry! I noticed the subject. This will be for 2 15"
  9. Rockford T1000-1BD 1260@ 1ohm I added in the .15 for the speaker, but bracing and all that I dont know how much to add. First box/design... Ive been running the calculator for awhile, and cannot seem to match up the box volume and port area and Hz, lol
  10. Been running some numbers....how does this look. Height - 18 Width - 38 Depth - 20 Port Dimensions Height - 16.5 Width - 3 Length - 7.5 Given the speaker displacement is .15? and 3/4 MDF I got 6.07 ft3 net airspace 31.92 Hz How does this sound? Any recommendations? The only restraint I have is width....which is 40" max. Other then that I would like to stay at 18" height just to stay under the back seats.... Should I have more air space? Should I change the tuning? Any advice will help! I am searching through the forums for answers also, but no hits yet.....
  11. Want to get a ported box designed and I dont know the speaker displacement. Anyone? Thanks in advance!
  12. Really? I cant try that link since im at work...ill try it at home. I thought the RE calculator was decent, lol. Any other options you guys use?
