  1. Because you are saying it´s an auction, for that small pioneer you most get it CHEAP as hell
  2. 2 15´s without even knowing if he has the space for a proper box??? You are barely starting, but you have to think on the future, it kinds of suck when you get use to your system and want more (maybe a month old for me haha) and you didn´t take precautions about it; i would get some very good and loud speakers, nice small subs and a good amplifier with some nice power for an upgrade Something like: 4 Powerbass 4xl 6.5" mids (if they fit on the doors): 160$ 4 Cadence CVL tweeters, i had a pair and they sound awesome : 140$ Leave the poweracoustik for the tweeters and buy a nice cheap amp for the mids, i use Almani and that shit it´s great for the price. Almani 800.4 : 120$ For the moment, you spent 420$ and you are set with the mids/highs and you have room for upgrade on the future Then, i would get some Alpine Type R´s , those subs pound hard for the price!! I dunno you available space, but i don´t think it would be too difficult for you to fit 2 12´s on that trunk, i would get a big ass box with a low tuning, so you can change to a top line subs whenever you want and still play nice without changing the box. 2 Alpine Type R´s 12" DVC 4 ohms: 250$ About the amplifier for the subs, there´s so many nice options that it´s more difficult to give you an opinion, in my case, i LOVE hifonics brutus amps, they are way to cheap for the power they can give you, i would get a bxi2610D for 310$ brand new and you can buy another one on the future and strapp them for an upgrade. Bxi2610D : 310$ So far, 980$ and that shit is pounding VERY NICE, a lot of money to build a nice box, wires, RCA´s , even a nice Kinetik or Powermaster battery and maybe a better alternator!! Or you can just forget about upgrading later and build a monster setup right now,but imo if you are learning about this, i would just build something like i told you on this thread
  3. WTF??? a box making god asking for dimensions??? yeah right
  4. I was doing some nice hairtricks with 3 10´s in my little swift, hairtricks are kind of difficult if you don´t have enough cone area or power, i´m doing BIG hairtricks without even a wall now, 2 Digital Designs 18" with 5000 watts, i know i could still do some hairtricks with 2 15´s , depends on your budget bro...
  5. Pioneer amps are very nice, and for that price i would give it a shot
  6. What amount of power? i dunno the BTL´s necause i´ve never worked with them, for a single 18" sub, i used a DD 3518 and 4k amp @ 1 ohm, i didn´t finish even the testing because they suspended the competition and left the single 18" setup, but i scored 149 dbs without resin,45´s , proper setting, flares or anything, i had 4.2 cubic feet with 2 8" PVC ports, i guess i´ve could hit around 152 dbs without much problems, once again, it´s a different sub, wait for someone to give you a better input about the BTL...
  7. I thought about it long time ago, i searched on the web and found a lot of people doing them, tried and i´m very good building them now hehe, i didn´t invent this Glad you like it bro, cheers!!!
  8. Well, i haven´t finished the building, i have to paint the rest of the tubes but yes, here you go!!
  9. Ah que bien, there most be a lot of latin people here i guess, you´re far from home bro!!!
  10. Thanks man, glad you like, i hope it can help you the time you built some aeroports hehe, you understood every word?? jumm sangre latina no? cheers!!!
  11. Or like a bass engine, get it under the seat and make him burp his 33 hz purr, maybe you can get a girl all wet like people said on the 33 hz thread hahahaha
  12. It´s all a combination of EVERYTHING, from the car to the subs and power!! easiest thing would be to play with some pvc tubes, you try 2 or 3 different sizes and when you find the loudest one, you build some flares Of course, you also try a lot of other things, like moving the box until you find the sweet spot, try to shrink the box, etc etc.
  13. HAHHAHAHHAHAA, every time you are arriving home, your cat actually gets all horny and wants to bang your car!!
  14. Brands suggest boxes for starting points only, today i built a 4 10´s pioneer box, they recommend 1.2 cubic feet per sub and i built a 1.6 per with a big ass port, scored 145.5 @ 44 hz on the TL with 2000 watts, very flat respond also wich was the main goal
  15. hahahaha dude, go to bed bro!!! Maybe you should set a termlab on your cat and make him burp, start a new topic on the member´s buid show off, "my 3 years old cat burping a 140 dbs @ 22 hz with a flat respond all the way to 44 hz" hahahaha
  16. For that amount of power i would use 1.5 cubic feet and 24 SQ of port with a 35 hz tuning if you are looking to pound the lows, the FS of the sub it´s very low so it should pound nice on those frequencies, and i would do it that size because you have a good power for it, but the sub sensitive it´s kind of low so maybe you´ll need a little bit bigger box than usual 10´s , once again. i´ve never played with that sub so maybe i´m wrong!!
  17. What power are you gonna use? i´m looking at the sub´s specs right now
  18. That´s a nice page, also, youn can use Torres Calculator, it´s proven to work awesome!
  19. Well, depends on some factors, i would say the most important and crucials would be box size and power!! There´s a simple rule that says 12-16 SQ of port per cubic feet for slot ports and 8-12 SQ of port per cubic feet for aeroports because they are more efficient, that "rule" isn´t real at all, but gives you a starting point!! There´s a couple of guys here that says port area doesn´t affect output, score on the meter and stuff like that, i don´t debate with them because they feel like they know everything, but for example, you can try a box for a 10" sub 1.5 cubic feet after displacement, single 4" port and then change it to a 6" and you´ll see the score changes!! I haven´t work with that sub, but i love how 10´s pound on boxes between 1.5-1.75 cubic feet after displacement, and 22 -24SQ of port
  20. Thanks a lot guys, still on progress, but that thing it´s moving a lot of air, today i scored a 153.7 @ 39 hz on a piece of crap AC190 , guess should be around 149 on the TL maybe? we´ll see very soon, in the meantime, i´ll try to get a hot chick for some hairtricks hehe
  21. Yeah try them, it´s easy and cheap, if it doesn´t work for you who cares? PVC is cheap as hell!!
  22. hahaha yeah well, i don´t keep secrets from preople hehe, i try to share whatever i can and know Yes it´s nice and simple, very easy to build and cool also, no i don´t use a converter, i write english very well but speak it like shit haha, i taped this video for my friends on Venezuela and Panama, you can see some vids on my channel where i speak english with a "sexy accent" according to tweistedchild hahaha. Sorry for the spanish language on the vid, but taping a video on 2 different languages it´s kind of boring, that´s why i explained here how to build them and they just have to watch on youtube the progress ehehe, glad you like it bro!!
