  1. yeah definitely dude, unfortunately since my car has a sunroof and a rear "skylight," it really hurts my spl. So numbers are hard to hit in my car. im not even hitting a 150 sealed and i have 4 layers of dynamat extreme on my roof. haha alright man.. will do, im always down for good food so thanks for the heads up. ill let you know.
  2. haha, ill keep that in mind.. im from about 15 minutes out of detroit, so ive got a few of those areas around home as well.. i know the deal
  3. thanks guys, so whats the deal with fulton? but yeah cjn, forsure. i work 7-5 monday through saturday, so any time other than that is good for me. definitely let me know edit: monday through saturday(not sunday)... if i worked 7 10's id probably shoot myself..
  4. Im from the detroit mi area, and i just moved to oswego off of 104 for the next 6 months or so for a carpentry job. I was just wondering if any of you are near by, maybe someone can meet for some demos and such. Considering i have no friends out here and im not old enough to go to the bar, ive been bored as hell out here. Ive got a malibu maxx ss, with 4 sa 12's walled behind the c pillar, 6000 audiopipe watts, 2 neo pro 10's, 2 neo pro 8's, 6 selinium super tweets and 5 batteries. Someone let me know if your down, im right by downtown, and i dont even know any good audio shops yet.

    Wow...

dude, i was like 2 inches from my monitor trying to figure out what was going on and it literaly scared the shit out of me.
  6. They're 12's, but i have no idea what it meters. ive never really heard another car to even compare it to, so i couldnt even make an assumption.
  7. OK, so im reletively new to the car audio game. Ive been doing it about a year, i have a walled 94 taurus with 6 alpine type r's off 6000rms. Id really like to start going to shows and do some local competitions just for curiosities sake, i really love the sport and only wanna learn more. But i think my next step is hearing other cars to see what else is out there. I havent heard anything else loud outside my own. But my main question is, what do i enter into competition wise being a first timer? idk where i stand, i know im not up there with any of the big guys, i just want to get into entry level status. So where do i start when looking for any type of show or competition, and what catigory should i go about entering? Someone help me out, i love the sport and i only wanna learn and expand. Im from Michigan right outside detroit, so i doubt theres a huge car audio interest in my area, but where can i find some? -andy
  8. HPI hellfire ftw, you have the handling of a buggy but the suspension of a truck. They low to the ground, fast out of the box, affordable and not to mention they look meannn
  9. haha, thanks. Im glad to finally start seeing positive feedback on my builds! I figure since im 18, and i love to doit, i should hopefully know alot by the time i get older and can actually budget a huge project.
  10. I used google sketchup, its free and surprisingly easy. I do everything to exact specs on there before i start touching mdf.
  11. Thanks! And idk yet, my buddy hasnt really let me know what he wants to wrap it with yet.
  12. The last couple days ive been working on this single 12 box for my friends alpine type r, off an mrp500. i put it in his 03 saturn ion. Its 2 cubes to the dot, tuned to 34hz. He has stock electrical, and stock front stage. But for an entry level setup, the box actually sounds surprisingly good. Let me know what you guys think.
