i had the design built by bcpballer. and hes done alot of designs so idk why it wouldnt be enough port area?? how long would the tube need to be then? each come 17" long. im cutting them to 13" long because thats what he said.

did you run your rcas on the same side as your power wire??

hope fully thats true. its jsut weird to me how they are so smaller yet they supposibly are more effecient and move more air. oh well. imma take peoples words for it.. plus it makes the box sooo much easier to build. basically a sealed box but cut the circles for the 2 ports.

when he had the old setupd like 6 months back i didnt know much about car audio. now i know so much more, i can actually tune the amp and stuff and i figured out how to use the eq in the head unit. so it should be a litte diff. what about the aero ports? does that affect it too? like in loudness? are those even good?

how so would it be louder? yes i just mean louder in general, flex, air movement, ears hurting diff. plus i know so much more now about car audio then i did before. why do you think itd be loudr?

hey, well a while back my brother had 2 12 type r's in a prefab 1.25 cuft per chamber ported box. and a kenwood 1800watt amp (500rms per sub) pos amp that would overheat every 30 mins. he sold that. and that was with 8 gauge wiring and stock elc. now he has a hc800 in the back, and 4 gauge wiring, a t1000.1bd (1102rms at 2 ohm) and we are going to build a box this weekend (hopefully with no rain) i already got the design, its 1.78cuft per sub tuned at 32hz with 2 4" aero ports 13" long. and 8 gauge speaker wire. would there even be that much of a diff? i mean main diff is 1: 4 gauge not 8 gauge 2: small hc800 in the back, better then nothing 3: custom box tuned to 32hz and .53 more cuft per sub compared to prefab 4: using a t1000.1bd and not overrated like the kenwood 5: 8 gauge speaker wire instead of 12 and thats basically it, and im kinda scared to use the aeroports cuz ive never used them before.. is it true they are really good? im scared they wont move as much air as a requaler rectengle shaped port? and is 32hz a good tuning for rap/loudness and low ness? what do you guys think? my brothers gonna beat my ass if it aint a noticibly diff since hes dumping more money in it. please help guys!

nice man! trying to hook up my brothers car right now, he got a 12 type r right now and he bought a t1000.1bd. we gonna build the box this weekend and hes gonna buy the other type r soon. then we gotta wait for the aero ports to come in thursday. im a little nervous cuz this is my 1st time using aeroports but everyone said they good. is that 4.4. cubes after dis? his box is gonna be 3.3 cubs after dis tuned to 32hz. i thought 1.75 was the max reccomended space for each 12?

is that before or after displacment? and tuned to 38eh. what kinda music you listen too? if rap its going to sound okayyy not as good as like 35 and below
