im still debating how im gonna even design the port.. this is tricky, idont want just a port i want something the size of my stock console.

i would fire subs towards the seats and extend the box out into the spot where my center console is and make the port there. basically a T.. has anyone done this before??

cant downfire the subs because i only have 6in depth to play with. i can downfire the port though?

well got a new truck, 94 mazda b2300 and i got the fishbowl look going on. its a single cab. no sliding rear window. and im gonna put beat in it. maybe 2 10s or 8s nothing big. but still dont want people seeing inside. so im debating wither i want 5 percent or not... i hear mixed reviews. some say they cant see shit out at night and thats what worrys me. ive never driven with anything under 35%. other people say they see fine at night.. what do you guys think?

and ill get more cubes because 1.7 is not counting the space i can add from taking out the center console if i extend out the port. would firing up even sound good? i know it would need something to load off

holy crap, if i use the back of my cab using 22x35x3 is only .60 cubes before port and sub displacemet if i take out the center console ill have 1.75 22x35x6 then i can run normal 10s. hmm i might say bye bye center console and make something out of mdf.. or subs back in the cab firing at the seats and port in the place of the center console firing up. like a T.. or would that sound funky? i really want to tune low and move air.

i really like the new shallow mount type rs that are 600rms but are 3.5in mounting depth FTL and are to expensive

nice! but will they get loud? i have a autotek 1900 i have laying around that i plan to use. they go for about 140 a piece which is pretty high for 300rms subs..

id rather have no bass then run sealed lol! but good idea on having the subs fire sidways! i plan to blow thru later on with 4 15s when i save up more money. but thats gonna be a while so i wanted to have bass right now to last me

sorry for the messeness of the wires lol i plan to clean up the rcas and 0 gauge later on when i have the amp placement etc planed out lol i mean i could have more mounting space if i didnt have that gay ass center console. but i really dont want to rip it out and just have a empty space there if you know what i mean

okay... so i just mesured my center console (i was gonna run 2 sa8s) in my center console but cant fit that > its only 8 inches wide and im guessing the subs are bigger then that. so i mesured the back (not extended cab ftl) and my specs are 22in tall. 35in wide, but the problem is i only have 3in deep before it hits my center console.. i really want to run ported. i dont mind running 1 12 ported. but the thing is what will sound decent that is shallow enough to fit in 3in? or if i take out my center console i can extend out to 6in deep but then i wont have a center console and it woldnt be comfy since i have to lay my hand somewhere to stay on the shifter. any ideas? again i only want ported.
