An alpine type r 10 needs only like .6 to .8 cubes it is a very small sub and rly doesn't even need that much. I agree though tuning it to about 32 to 38 hz and it will sound great. I recently did a setup in a 06 grand cherokee 2 type r 10's ported to 32 hz in a small enclosure roughly .7 cubes each sub and it sounds amazing.

whats the volume and tuning freqeuncy? coming out real nice too
