i wouldnt underpower a btl so much. just my opinion.

its just the vinyl sitting on top of the frame without any padding. so it has tons of wrinkles and the headrest and back arent connected, the back is just sitting there and the headrest is on a window sill behind the seat. my mom just sent the pic to me from her phone. im going over today so ill get some pics.

first thing. i didnt go over to my moms today cuz i was up in jersey all day. so no pics tonight. even an ameteur could do it. its honestly not hard as long as you know how to use the sewing machine. x2 on the DIY and you make more money then you put into it by far.

it is essentially just sewing tho. my mom never did an interior on any car and she was able to do my passenger seat in a little over a day. those guys do it for a living so they can do both seats easily in one day with no problem. i give it to them that they can sew and all that. i know i cant. but their prices are so overpriced its not even funny. i could see if i was using genuine leather or like gucci fabric to do the seats, but to do 2 seats takes 4 yards of $9.99 a yard vinyl. and they were telling me prices over 550.

ya. those guys are on serious drugs. one shop told me it would be 650 and another told me it would be 575 .. and i only have a 2 seater car, so all they had to do was the two front seats. its not like the vinyl costs more then 20 bucks for each seat so they are charging all that for the 2 hour sewing job. no thanks. free is for me.

personally. id do the 1 g paint job and put the rest towards other stuff. there are so many cars that have crazy chamelion paint and are so shitty its not even funny. id rather see a car that has a just a super simple paint job that looks good over a crazy one. there is so much better stuff to spend money on then the color of your exterior.

there is nothing better then that. my mom used to work in a fabric store so she sews like a god. i told her i was gonna glue some carpet on my seats and call it done. but she said thats disrespectful to my bimmer. she owns a car shop now. so she has my passenger seat right now and she is making my seats all black vinyl instead of my ripped tan leather. she only got the bottom and the headrest done while i was there. but it was all lookin mad good. FREE FTW !

i didnt look. i figured if it was coming from "rockford technicians" that fixed it. then y wouldnt they test it and give it a birth sheet if the original was lost. but ill just check it with the mm

no need to be a dick about it. i knew it didnt come with a birthsheet and anyone paying $1100 for a t20001 is retarded. i want to know what my amp is actually doing as opposed to just knowing its over 2000 watts and not knowing whether its 800 or 5 over that. its not a big deal. but i wouldnt like to know. HDA states "This is factory refurbished by Rockford Fosgate technicians." well if they went through all the stuff to fix it why not give it another birth sheet again ? its not like i bought my amp off joe blow down the street who sells out of his trunk with no warranty or gaurentee.

so whatever im getting on the multimeter i just square square that. so say its reading 52.91 if i calculated it my watts should be 2799.46 watts what kind of volume or amp settings should i be set at when i meter it ?

its an rf t20001bd its not installed in my car yet. but if that works then thats how i'll check it when it comes down to it. thanks

nope. how would i go about doing that .. and would it give me an accurate reading ?

anyone know where i could get my amp tested , or if i could do it myself with a meter or something ? .. i bought it off HDA and it didnt come with one, which i think is really shitty.

i didnt look at my score. but that thing is messed up. you have to place the state like precisely where the pointer wants it or its done. it wouldnt let my put pennsylvania, new york, or new jersey in their places and i live in PA and i go to NJ to ride every month.
