ported will be louder than sealed. BUT sealed will dig down very low, youll be able to play lower than ported (20 hz ) i had 2 15 l7s sealed and i could flex windows of stores and my tires. but im now building a ported box to get louder.

sealed boxes do have their place. it can get loud too. ive had two 15 l7s sealed and i could do windowflexing of stores.

i had l7s sealed and ported and i always liked how they performed. its in the box to a certain point.

i was told to by a car audio shop that stock speaker wire would be fine for ~ 100 watt per door. i also made good experience with that. just run your speaker wire to the HU and then crimp it to the stock wire.

"throw it up" and "juice box" are like red bars lol bc the bass is always hitting.

i have alot of songs which are clipped when i see them in audacity. for example "throw it up", "juice box" etc. can i damage my subs playing these songs? so many people play such music on youtube but when i checked it on audacity im a little confused what it does to the subs.

can i use the test tones from realmofexcursion to set my gains with an O-scope? audacity shows clipping...

i wonder how to build a wall secure enough so that you wont die of it in case of an accident.

my gain is not set all the way up. its maybe set to 3/10. how do i connect the O-scope?

the box is 8,8 cft without displacements. maximum sealed eclosure is 12 cft without displacements according to kicker. the subs are pretty much moving, i guess about little over xmax.

both subs move about the same have 2*2 ohm, i checked that too. its weird one sub bottoms out when the windows are shut, but it plays like the other one when the windows are opened. each chamber of the box is the same size.
