Who cares about having kids that early? If you take care of your child, and have a good relationship with the daddy, and your own family, and also have set goals for youself, then what does it matter? I get pissed at the whores and bitches who have kids then throw tantrums about shit not getting done, babies too expensive, daddy is never home, blah blah blah.

Comes down to power too. 1 15 on 1k, will not be as loud as 2 12's on 1k, assuming they're the same brand woofers, both in the reccommended box and tuned the same. More cone area = louder.

idk why they wouldn't cover it. Not like I soaked it with gasoline and then lit it on fire, or dropped it off a building to the concrete. Bottom snapped, then caused the top to snap. I've been meaning to have them upgrade it too, so maybe this was the alts way of saying "upgrade me"? lol.

Engine doesn't vibrate lol. Tranny has always slipped just a tad when it shifts from 1st to 2nd, but other than that cars in great shape for being almost 14 years old.

I don't have time to constantly take it out nor go to the auto shop. I juggle school and my job, and this is a hobby. When the bottom one snapped I didn't have any time to immediatly take it out. I had work that night, school the next morning and work after school. I had to go a few days with the bottom broke. That's then when the top snapped a few days later. Now im here, with it out, and stock back in trying to get in touch with DC.

amp is probably goin into protect cause he's drawin too much power that his electrical can't provide, or it's overheating because of the same problem.

ditch the caps bro. Get a better battery, or add another battery next to the amps and wire them straight to that battery. Youre causing nothing but more things to charge for the alt

Might want to add too, when I put the alt in it vibrated, and I mean it looked like it was shivvering from the cold. No idea what from. Maybe that has something to do with it? Stock alt does not vibrate at all. I was using the belt DC reccommeded to me. Stock belt is back in now.

I installed the alt in july. It was working fine until last week. It started with short squeel on startup, and then it would get louder and last longer. I let this happen for a few days before it annoyed the hell out of me enough to take it to the shop where they saw the bracket snapped. In no way was it overtightened. There was still PLENTY of room to tighten the belt, and the belt had maybe a 3/4" to an inch maybe of slack. After I got home I saw the top had cracked too. This morning I started the car again and smoke came out of my hood, so I stopped and poped the hood and the belt was literlly melting from the heat of something nearby. I called it quits on the alt and left the car home all day.

well they at finals. so i put my stock alt back in. Guess what? It charges better than the DC. I was getting 14.4 at 600 rpm with stock in. And like 14.1 to 13.8 on the DC. Wtf? here's pics though. stock alt charge at 600 rpm look what else broke.

if you use 1/0 run a 300 a fuse. match the amp rating of the amp itself to the battery. I think those 1200s are internally fused iirc?

it depends on what kinda electrical you have now and what you are planning to run in the future

You can get away with whatever battery you want in the front, and as long as you have the same in the back, you'll be fine. Like I have a XS up front, and 3 sprinters in the back, which is fine. But I dont want to run like an XS up front, then a Sprinter, then a Kinetik, then a Yellow top, than a duralast.
