  1. Yeah I love that. It has the power light, and a clipping light. Also, on my HU, do I want to turn down SRC lvl to 0? And my bass on the EQ settings as well? I have L at +2, Mid -3, and treb +4. Bass boost is 0. What about loudness? I keep it at HIGH because it makes my components louder. Not too sure what that's doing to my sub.
  2. true true. I know all that gibberish that gains aren't volume knobs. It just suprised me that it was putting out about 40 volts with it barely turned up
  3. well we don't use just inches ya know? lol. we use MM too, just as much as you. But we use inches cause it's a lot faster to count, if that makes any sence. If I needed a foot of mdf, im not going to say 304.8 MM. Just too complicated; and I guess it comes down to how you were raised too.
  4. With my AQ1200, and my Fi 15" Q, I just set my gain with my DMM, and I am set at about 35 volts, at 40 on HU, and remote bass knob all the way up. The gain on my amp is roughly 1/4, maybe even 1/5 of the way to max. Is that normal? If so then dayummm AQ really underrates their equip
  5. that means you need your port to have a diamater of 4 inches, and a length of 8.5 inches.
  6. measure from the middle of the port. Your port height will usually be 1.5 inches less than your total box height. Your width and length is what you mess with to determine the tuning. Look in the encclousures section and there's a tool called torres calc, download that and mess with your dimensions. a good tuning is usually in the neighborhood of 30-40 hrtz, but it all comes down to preferences.
  7. Yep. that HU has 3 sets of output rcas. Front, Rear, and Sub. Plug and go!
  8. Crutchfield tells you that you need a lotta stuff. They make their money that way and that's why I really don't buy from them anymore. (outragous prices). But I am gonna say down with the sony HU. Look at pioneer's headunits. God damn i love them. So clean, raw looking. No buttons everywehere like some hu's.
  9. What about rockfords? I'm not too familiar with PEI domes, but I know RF makes badass speakers. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_21844_Rockford_Fosgate_P1T-S.aspx
  10. what do you think about the infinities?
  11. I was thinking some infinity kappa 10.9T's . They'll go great with my kappa 6x9s and 5 1/4 in the doors. And i love how the kappas tweets sound.
  12. those cdt's are a little outa my price range though
  13. something thats going to be clear, and not that annoying ass habit some tweeters where theres wayyyyy to much emphasis on "s" sounds, or "t" sounds. Just I guess, smooth but loud.
  14. I'm looking for 2 sets of tweeters with xovers, that sound great, and around 40-60$ each. Ive been on woofers etc, and onlinecarstereo and they both have a ton of tweets, but I don't know whats really good, and whats total bullshit. So if anyone has any reccs let me know
  15. 60$ shipped to you El1t3Bass
  16. I'm using my brothers cam he got for christmas. its a Cannon PowerShot SD780IS http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=18183 12.1 MP
  17. Lol! Oh shit that looks tight!
  18. thanks for the quick payment and im sorry again about the delay!
  19. Yep still for sale. It's about 75$shipped
  20. like i said over the phone 32 htz is perfect. it's a tad on the low side, but with the music you listen to it's perfect. With the upgrades you said youre doing, it should be louder because of the extra power, better amp, battery, and bigger wire. I would think aeroports would cut any issues with standing waves? So maybe thats why people prefer them
