I have a nice Kenwood component set ill sell for $75 shipped let me know
-
see this thread just make an offer
-
some rock or something to show that it plays other music very good not just a bass box
-
holy shit that truck looks BAD ASS
-
-
where are you located OP?
i would feed it about 750 RMS, just make sure its clean power not clipped.
1000 may be overkill unless its just for burps or 30 seconds of music, not all day bumping.
-
vid wasn't too impressive lets see the 6 12's
-
do the trade for the jimmy cause trunk cars are hard to get "loud" out of....unless you want to do a wall
-
anyone who laughs at that guy is going to hell. lol/
+1 hahahahhahaha
-
I'm about to do anouther "half wall" set up in my girls sunfire. I was going to do a full wall but I know I would go overkill. But u have to seal everything up for that u should use fibergless or even wood
+1 it will sound shitty if you don't seal everything up also there may be new vibrating parts like around the rear deck so make sure everything around the "wall" is dynamatted or sealed with spray foam or something or it will vibrate when the bass hits and sound shitty

anything gucci
and webbie- 6 12's and g shit hit super hard
and anything jeezy like air forces thats a classic for loud bass to show your friends.
-
I agree with everything you said until the JL part.
lol edit then: Go for some Fi Q's then.
OR some kind of other SQ sub
-
i like the entry level new amps and subs from kicker very good choice for some light bass boost nothing too crazy/loud.
-
congrats on the new car steve it looks SICK
i'd keep it clean too just some white 20's, dark tint, tail light tint, and a couple JL W6 10's in the trunk.
-
it will work but won't hit the lows
how would you even put the signal to it, don't those use one thick wire for input rather than RCA's?
-
Look into Rainbow or Focal I heard they make great tweeters. I've only heard Rainbow personally and they sound great.
-
Use it as a paper weight? use for target practice, drop it off a 3 story building, or blow it up those are my suggestions.
lol
that things worth like $50, so you could just sell it on craigslist
-
Looks to be some kind of capacitor
-
magnet weight is totally irrelevant to anything...they are 11.25" in diameter with a single slug
well with cheaper subs it is, because some of them have the same magnet weight as like 6x9's :/
but for these high end subs, its only important to know because of how to brace the box cause a cheap prefab with a 50 LB sub = broken box quickly

I use KnuConceptz Karma and have NO distortions. Plus these cable aren't too expensive...
+1 KnuConceptz is the way to go for the best wiring (power, RCA's, ect) for a fair price.

Very good suggestions Moti, however im looking to buy one complete, rather than parts. I want just a fresh start (no more slow POS just plug in and start over)
Any other suggestions?
