I just weighed mine to see where it was at since Kyle Rutherford weighed his, and he was 8524 iirc.
He has 4 Sundown team 18s that are over 100lbs each, 26 D1600 batteries, 4 ns-1s (i think) and a baffle that is plated with 1/2inch steel.
When I weighed mine I just have the 4 ufo btl 18s, 5 D3100s, 2 S3400s under the hood, and 2 saz-4500s.
So I guess I got a lot of wood weight lol
Don't you have about 20-30 sheets of mdf in that thing too? Or am I thinking of a different build/person?

So did the guy hit those people and then just take off???

My entire rear wall is layered with roadkill and we cut out just enough to get to bare metal and welded right around it.....not one problem or oh shit moment.

Same thing with my fi teams. Two are older with a different surround and cone. As long as the specs, spider pack and leads are the same, you'll be fine.

Test fit.....

I been getting worked like into the ground by Uncle Sam LoL. Now I'm slowly trying to learn some welding to put this van together. More random pictures coming soon
Or you could start a new build log

It's going to depend on your setup and what you typically play.
-5 is going to give you more bass and work well if you're ply a lot of edited music (decaf, etc)
-10 is going to give you even more but be careful (use your nose and ears)
-15 not needed and risky

Set sub level on HU to max, find volume clipping point, then set gain on amp. This will allow max output voltage from the HU.
-
Like ninja said, you should be alright with 4 3100s.....start there and if you need to add one, do that. Regarding the alt, that will depend on how you're running your system.....playing full tilt while driving or at idle. If your car idles low, you might see some drop....if that happens, give it a little gas.

You could be clipping. Even at 1/4 gain
Sub on hu should be at 0
Depends on the HU but definitely some dirty power getting to those coils. Find HU clipping point and reset gain on amp correctly.
