  1. My entire rear wall is layered with roadkill and we cut out just enough to get to bare metal and welded right around it.....not one problem or oh shit moment.
  2. Anyone have two ampere 150.4s they want to sell??

Want more power than that :/ Four 8s and four tweets per door.

  3. Same thing with my fi teams. Two are older with a different surround and cone. As long as the specs, spider pack and leads are the same, you'll be fine.
  4. I have the alpine 9887 but thinking about getting one of the newer models for my build......any suggestions?

get your two new boards from bob, flip your "older" one, and put a plex backing on it and show the guts..... no one will ever even know man.

      Not a bad idea......

  6. 5-6 months to build and get it playing.....2-3 hours to tear it down.

And I knew he would. He had a few bad games here coming back from an injury so we trade him. That's the shit that pisses me off.

  8. Anyone running McLaren mids & tweets? Thoughts?

Well that just makes my decision a little more difficult.

  11. It's going to depend on your setup and what you typically play. -5 is going to give you more bass and work well if you're ply a lot of edited music (decaf, etc) -10 is going to give you even more but be careful (use your nose and ears) -15 not needed and risky
  12. Set sub level on HU to max, find volume clipping point, then set gain on amp. This will allow max output voltage from the HU.
  13. Like ninja said, you should be alright with 4 3100s.....start there and if you need to add one, do that. Regarding the alt, that will depend on how you're running your system.....playing full tilt while driving or at idle. If your car idles low, you might see some drop....if that happens, give it a little gas.
  14. Depends on the HU but definitely some dirty power getting to those coils. Find HU clipping point and reset gain on amp correctly.
  15. Might pull the trigger on a denali xl (6.0L).....do you think it's worth going through the hassle of taking it to a repair shop and pay for them to put it up on a lift for inspection? Seller has no problem with me doing this so no red flags at this point......

Yeah....also, even if they do find a few minor things, I'll be able to negotiate a better price. Thanks fellas.....kind of already knew the answer to my question but figured I'd talk it out haha

Take it to the shop to put it up on lifting worth the $20 for piece of mind

Inspection scheduled tomorrow.....the dealer is being real laid back about it......not questioning me or pressuring me to just trust that there's no problems with the truck, which I'll take as a good sign.

  16. 2002 denali xl, 6.0L, 121k miles, asking price is $7,900.....going to go check it out tomorrow. What would be a reasonable price to request without low-balling?

Ehhh, went to go check it out....something's up with the regulator or battery.....after I started it up, it was charging at 18v, dropped to 16 after it warmed up....resting at 14 with it off. Told the guy something was up, he acted like it was normal. Told him i would give him 6500 for it, he acted like I insulted him. Whatever....I'll find something elsewhere. Thanks for the input fellas.

  17. Big thanks to Scott at Fi....looks like my subs are going to be delivered on the 30th. Great guy, great company, and badass subs.

  18. You know what's better than two Fi team 15s?......Four!

  19. Raptor liner is good stuff and worth the money. I think that's what ^moredbs used but I've recently seen it first hand and it gives you that texture that you'd expect from a bed liner. Definitely worth the extra money IMO.
  20. I sprayed a couple coats on a scrap piece of wood to test it before I painted my box.....didn't like it and went another route. *I even used their primer before the couple coats
