What are you wanting to pay for solo x 18? I got one I might sell
-
Has any one run one of these subs inverted? If so how does it do? The the reason im asking is the box I got with the subs is too small. And I want to flip the sub around to give it more airspace.
-
Any one know the displacement? And has any body run one inverted?
-
This is my first one and I tell you its heavy as hell. Not sure on the weight but I think it atleast 100pounds
-
The guy I got it from had it in a fleetwood caddy and it was ripping the ass end off that car I made I video of it and I will be putting it up on youtube tomorrow
-
Some power tools
-
Can any one tell me about the solo x pros an cons? And how much displacment the 18 has? I got one on a trade an I've never realy been a kicker fan. But this subs looking pretty massive! What do you guys think? Thanks
-
Your lucky it didn't fry. Cause there real stiff an are made for vented boxes only
-
You can't use a seal box on that sub.
-
i have cut my self on mdf and plywood. remember to grip your wood gently lol
-
i seen some videos of car that were painted with a rollor with oilbase rustolem paint lol . some didnt look bad at all . check out youtube

If he is stuck on hifonics, atleast have him get the brz line. The HFI line is garbage.
Ill have him look into it. Thanks alot i didnt consider it even
I just wanted some opinions, i know some people have done like 8 of those subs and had success, just wondering overall what people thought because they are very low end
well i had 8 hifi 12s in a ported box in my work van. and it was loud as hell.shitty low notes with em too but every other week i was having to replace one. i wouldnt do it again.

clean all the paint off to bear metal in the places you use for grounds. bad grounds get realy hot
-
my bad i dint think the block needed grounding
-
well i figured that the wires not going right in that spot. probly just showing it there so we can see it. or atleast i would hope so lol
-
option 1 would be the better than option 2. i dont think all you grounds have to go directly to the batt. just ground the batt to the frame. and ground every thing eles there too. no need to run a ground to the block. the blocks already grounded. i would use conduit on all the power wires.
-
i would try to make all you runs as short as you can. try to keep them away from moving parts . and high heat spots like the exaust. or places that it could wear a hole in the insulation.
-
looks ok to me bro.
-
the mods dont delete the threads like that. they leave em so the next guy needing to fix split wood can learn how.
-
i would go with the correct air space. the bigger the box is the less power they will take too.
-
and this only happends to me at chase banks. and its not just the one i went too. its all of them . theres a link at the top of a forum started by people who is sick of there ass too
-
what realy burned my ass, was that every thing was going good . till i said no to them on opening an acount. my i d was good for that , but not good to cash there own check.
