0.25Ω
is there amps that will hold that?
-
64 ohms....
why in the world would you do that?
what about paralel
-
if you wire 8 daul 4 subs in series what ohm load would that be. does any one know this one?
-
go with the audioque amps if you can i here thay are good cant belive dj did not try to sell ya one
-
My mmats amp will not shut off,but after about 10 minutes it goes into protect. When I turn it back on it only comes out of protection when I turn the volume up and really pump the subs. Then its fine ,but it will not shut off even if i remove the remote wire. The only way it shuts off is to remove the power wire or ground.
i wouldnt keep using it to keep from damaging it futher. and contact warranty or repair company some thing went out needs repairing
-
dual4s all ten i figured for what the subs are it wouldnt matter that much about the amps is long they were wired right and have enough power to push all of them i am not realy worred about soung qualty to a point i just want it to slap hard and i think i will go with a sealed box probly around 1.5 cubes per sub
-
with my expiernce those subs dont do well in ported ive went threw 4 so far. the best so far that ive seen them perform was in a sealed yet small box maybe .5cube per sub. but i was also loading them in my trunk facing up
well i am gonna try to kill them i promise you that. so there just to play around with anyway i plan to up grade them when i get some cash to play with unless these blow me away then i might just keep em after all you can get em so cheap with free shipping at audiosavings.com i think there only 69 bucks a pair shit man you can just flex tha hell out off em if it blows just buy more if it was more expensive i wouldnt say that but to me i can have fun with it with little worrys because there cheap so i say turn it up till somthing gives lol
-
dont mix subs, and that pyle amp probably does like 700rms at best. and how do you have the room for that many speakers in a PROPER enclosure?
its going in a full size van
-
cool i will think about it i might sell it if it cant keep up. i am putting 6 12s on that one and i have a plye 4000 mono 1200rms @1ohm on the other 4 12s gonna see what happens its a cheap amp but its got some power
-
thats it
-
do you have a pic of it ?
yea i cant get it on here but i can change my pic to it
-
i am running 10 12s hifonics hfid4 and the guy i got the amp from says its upgraded i dont know who done it but the top of it is shimed for clearance but im not sure whats up with it honestly. but it slamed the shit out of 4 12s cheap sony explodes subs so it seems to be good it didnt get hot or any thing
-
can any one tell me were i can get audiobahn 1200 d mono upgraded or if its even worth doing? does any body know about this that can help .the amp works fine just wanting a little more out of it if i can
-
they sound really good for what they cost those are the exact subs i have currently im wanting to rebuild them though so bad i cant wait for ur build log ima read that shit everyday where are u located cause when its done i wana hear it
i am from monroe la, yea me too it should do something i will be puting 300 rms on each one . i think i will do a sealed box for room so i can still work out of it but i am buying a truck soon and then i will get stuiped with the van. might put 10 more
-
naw man i just love those subs and would love to see that amount
realy do they sound good. i was running re sx 18 but wanted more they cost to much so i whent with the hifonics instead. there alot cheaper i figured i would make up for qualty with a shit load more subs i think it will be ok
-
Just keep it on the downlow. I have a reputation to maintain.
no prob
-
1.25 cubes per sub sealed.
1.75 cubes per sub ported.
I hope this post isn't too helpful. I obviously don't know my shit and I'd hate to piss anyone off.
thanks
-
i want pics of these subs right now sir
why you dont think i have them or what i can text them to you i wanted to post them but it said the file to big
-
sealed will be easier and smaller, ported will be bigger and louder. its all up to you. what do you want to know?
if i go with sealed how many cubeswould you sugest
-

-
i say throw em in its gonna sound fine for what it is. are they going in the trunk?
-
hey ever one im big dee ive been dabling in car audio for years now and im building a little somethin in my work ride witch is a one ton van going with 10 12s the hifonics hfs got em from audiosavings.com cool guys there and cheap. any way i seen steve meade on youtube about 3 maybe 4 years ago i thouht his shit was insaine. the man has skills .
-
guilty of everything you guys are saying and maybe a few more
-
Maximum you should really pull over a single run of 0 gauge is about 300A (unless it's 2ft long from a battery bank, then you're good for maybe 5-600A)
So if the amp is gonna pull 350-400A at full tilt it makes sense to have dual power and ground.
The amp will run without both connected - on 99% of amps they're internally paralleled.
sounds good to me thanks. so if it has two connects on the power and ground its best to use both?
