O an he's not my buddy! Lol just a guy I did a demo for. I think he git mad over my system shitting on his. He has 4 Memphis 12s and I have one aqhdc3 18. Not knocking Memphis but he has like half the port area he needs so it doesn't perform as it should. But I can't tell him that cause I'm wrong lol.

I tryed to tell his dumb as the instal was wrong. But I got banned from his youTube. It was stupid to trust the "kingofbass" to build somthing that would dwarf his own. But hey I was told I didn't know anything and there would he a loading wall and it was enough airspace. Steve's name got thru in for some reason and I shut that down quick. But some people just are ignorant. O well I tryed to warn the guy. Before hand. I'm not trying to dis anyone. But it probly will piss some off. But I think its cool for you man to let it go. Your a truly a good man for that. I hate jp and his selfishness. He got his in the end. Maybe things will move forward now and soars heal. I will never support him or anything to do with him. I won't go in to detail on my reasons why. He knows and that's all that matters. But way to go Steve your the man! Probly a better one than my self. I'm not as forgiving. I hope he learned somthing. I would go with the 18. But that's just me tho. I have the hdc3 18 and its a beast. Haven't herd the hd4 yet. And I would try sub up port up.

Techforce is leaving smd I read. I would say them but I don't know . He stated his leaving the forums to do logos an work more. Nut I've seen nothing on the other forums about that. Just here. And also it could be somthing in the car making the noise. I had a poping sound in my truck at full tilt. I thought it was my sub but it turned out to be the dash poping from flexing so hard. It sound exactly like it was the sub. The sounds bounce around and can fool you on the location there coming from.

And if the subs not fully broke in it will sound kinda shitty. Mine sounds better now its broken in.

How big is your box? And how much power are toubputting on it? You could have to much airspace for the power your running.

I got in to a debate today over a guy telling me that he an his cousin goes to TX and buys audioque dirt cheap at the flea markets. Lol I tryed to tell him he was misstakin. But some people just know it all. I told him if they did find aq stuff at a flea market it had to be used. But he insisted it was brand new equipment. And that they go several times a year and buy in bulk to resale.

Is it the Brutus or hi-fi series? Hi-fi sucks and won't do rated power. I like the older Brutus modals. I had a few and there beast! Gotta have good electrical to hold them tho.

I think it does. I've downloaded a few bass boosted songs that were clipped. I would turn the gain down a tad an see if it helps. But I would stay away froms songs like that.

The DB meter is worthless for car audio. The phone mic can't handle the dbs at all. I've tryed these before. And it peggs out before I even got 1/4 volume.
