I have two L5 kicker 12's in the trunk right now, in kicker manufactured box, from the back seat floor boards, to the back of the trunk is dynomatted (cost a pretty penny) lol. Anyways, i'm selling these subs and box to a buddy, and i'm not sure on what to get next, i'm gonna get a Audiopipe 3000.1d , to start off anyways, what subs would go good with this amp? 12's 15's or an 18? I'm just looking to get max spl out of my car, any thoughts would be much appreciated. The back seat is removed already, should I just stick with something in the trunk? Or just have a box resting on the back seat with like 2 15's? Hit me up! Thanks!

I'm just concerned about the resonance factor, I have two L5's in the trunk and those things bang, but because they're in the trunk and when the subs hit all the air is displaced through the whole trunk then out towards the cabin. So are you saying a walled off setup would kinda be the same?

I'm just trying to get some input on this, what would you (or anyone) recommend as far as box setup and build goes. I had a 15 inch L7 today in my backseat with one slot port on the side and it wasn't hittin for SHIT, just sayin lol. I just want as much SPL as I can get, I need the correct setup tho.

Alrite, so take a look at this video, at the 35 second mark, where you can see Dan's box, he has three ports facing the rear, I was wondering if I could Put those two AQ 15's in a box in my back seat (seats and everything removed already) and have three similar ports going INTO my trunk , and I will fully second skin the whole trunk, as well as foam where needed. Does this sound like a good idea? I just want this bitch to hit hard. (take a look) Would like to get some feedback on this.

Yeah they came at dual 2 ohm, I decided i'm just going to get one 15 L7 , I mean. it's going to be in the backseat, the homie is gonna put his in my car to see what it sounds like, lets hope for the best oh, and my car is a 97 honda civic, the same one that steve meade has.

I am thinking of making a new box, a bigger one, and tuned lower, and also wiring down the speakers to half ohm from 2 ohm. Is this safe? What kind of amp should I get? thanks for the help in advance, im just looking for ways to improve my system. -Serg
