So got done listening to Drakes debut - Thank Me Later and it is a HUGE disappointment. The hardest song on it is Over. Its a damn R&B cd. I know he started out with R&B and I don't have a problem for him making a song or two every once in a while. But this CD is garbage. Same exact shit hes had out. I don't care no more how fast you came up from nothing. Don't go buy this CD on the 15th I think is when it hits stores. I admit I always get and hear the bootlegs of albums but I ALWAYS support the artist and go buy their CD when it hits stores. Even if it only has 2 or 3 songs I like I will buy it. Sadly though, this will not be in my CD collection. Just thought I'd post this review. I was excited all year for this to come out and now I've heard it and really am disappointed. Back to my decaf collection and T.I.'s mixtape. Need some new music people!!! And if this thread goes into the off topic mods please move it, just wanted to post a preview review of this album since it is a fail.

Just browsing.... So a Kinetic KHC2000 or a XS D5100 should do good for a trunk battery? Trying to stay away from Optima and local brands. Want something I know people actually use and get success out of. And I didn't have any luck finding your vid keepinitloud

Does your radio have any type of data center like telling you a door is open or fuel mileage? If the radio is just the radio then you might not need that. I've only done one newer chevy install and it was in a 05 malibu which had the data center built into the radio and the installation kit included a data center to replace the factory one. If all that controls is GPS, Onstar, and door chimes then you shouldn't need it.

I do plan on getting a HO alt and better starter battery but want to just get this in for now. Next year I'm going to try and add another 15 and another 2200 but I'll double up on electrical then. Just want to get by for now. Hows that battery treating you? Did you get dimming while driving before the Iraggi?

I know I've made a few post about setups but constantly change my mind. I've finally made up my mind now and am trying to cut back on money temporarily. I am going to be running a AQ HDC3 15" on a AQ2200D amp with a AQ90.4 to run my mids and highs. JUST FOR NOWI want to get away with running my stock alt (110A) and my Autozone starter battery up front with 0 gauge wiring and one extra battery in the trunk. What is the cheapest yet best battery to get by on for this? Trying to keep it under $200. Just want something that could handle it. I don't plan on going full tilt for hours but every once in a while be able to handle a song at full tilt with a break in between songs. What battery is my best choice? Thanks

Me and my brother just installed a 5901 with all the bells and whistles. Motion sensor, glass sensor, backup battery, tilt sensor, and a few piezos. Ordered from sonic and ran just over $400. Took us about 8 hours to install it how I wanted it and I absoulutely love it. Had it for a few weeks now and have never slept so good at night.

You've got to go to the Brickyard. The party is so much better and a much funner crowd. Just sucks with changes in NASCAR rules lately but it's still fun. I see you managed to park in the track atleast. Heard it was a real bitch to get parked in there. They keep taking more parking out. Oh yeah. The motorcycle race is badass in September. Just a huge party all weekend.

I have a 7" flip out touch screen. I dont watch movies. I listen to music. So if I can make use of the screen at the same time listen to my music then no I don't think it's stupid. Half the shit I do has no purpose other then the wow factor to others. Just like to show off with whatever to make others wish they had it.

I just gave up and actually got the firefox addon and download the videos in HQ and then convert with TVC to mpeg1 and remove the audio. Then use windows movie maker and overlay my own HQ songs into the video and then burn them to a DVD with Aimersoft DVD studio. Got a couple DVDs done now. Still going to order one of the chopped and screwed ones but I got my way of making my own as long as YT has them in HQ.

My dad, sister, brother and his wife will be there in line on 16th at 5:45. I only do the Brickyard. Used to do all the races but got kind of bored with the Indy Car. Still fun. Have fun with the hot ass weather. Hopefully the weather stays clear till the race finishes. Usually does but is shit weather for driving home from the race

Sweet. A buddy told me his DJ used to have some type of screwed and chopped music video DVDs he used at parties. Might of been these. I am probably going to look into both

Not asking for illegal ways, but a legitimate way to get a hold of high quality music videos with high quality audio on DVD or video cd to play in the car. A buddy of mine has a few DVDs but crappy quality and I've looked and looked and haven't had luck. Just wondering if any of you guys have a way or place to get music videos onto DVD or where to obtain music videos. I know I can get videos on iTunes but if that's what any of you do what program do you use to burn your disc with it? -Robert

Assuming you are running 1 4ohm subwoofer on it. You need one positive to the left channel positive and the negative to the right channel negative. Turn the setting to LPF. Should be a switch that sets it to LPF only. No need to adjust the HPF after this because it isn't being used. Just adjust your LPF to around 60hz. And bass boost can be set about half way if its a adjuster on the amp. This isn't the greatest amp for a sub but will work for it. Make sure your gain isn't past half way. I'm assuming you don't really know how to find if its clipping so set it between 1/4 and 1/2 turn. DO NOT TURN IT ALL THE WAY UP NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOU THINK IT SOUNDS! Hope this helps some?

These type Es are only my filler subs. They've been in storage for about 2 years. But when I got jacked this year they took everything but my subs and I sold the 3 12" Kenwoods I had and wanted to start from scratch. These alpines were just to help me get by with my bass needs. Thanks for the link. Didn't see recomendations in the specs for the subs and didn't know where to look.

I just noticed the HDC3 doesn't specify enclosure recommendations on their site. Would it be ok in 3-3.5^ft?

But I don't know which one I like. I'm sure they're all great but if one gets louder then the others I want to know. I'm planning on being stuck with this for close to a year so I want the best choice for my situation.

So finally making some final decisions hopefully. In the poll I have listed what subs I am considering. My build will be one 15" with 3.5^ft tuned at 33hz for a daily beater with a AQ1200D. I've not had any experience with these subs in person so anyone who has I would love to hear your good or bad opinions on any. And let me know why you think I should go with the certain one. I just want to make sure what I end up with is reliable and can play full tilt for extended periods of time. I do want some SQ but I want as much SPL as I can get.

I did a little more searching to stand behind my post and I am 99% I'm correct. The problem is, if your subwoofer is playing hz below its boxes tuned frequency distortion happens really fast and this is where damage can be caused to your sub. Still would like a more knowledgeable person to chime in though.

Ok. Before everyone takes what I said as fact. I know I've seen what I said mentioned here a few times so I'm going off of what I've learned here on the forums. Please someone who knows this for a fact post to back it up or if I'm wrong
