Sundown will yield more power @.5-1 ohm and it will cost u less but they are both great amps you cant go wrong with either .

I would say for SQ the Fi Q "the W7 killer" X3 and it comes in 18's

i got the audioque earbuds for $25 they sound great and cancel the noise pretty well too

and the sq?ya, its a different type of amp than anyone uses. its basically a big ass motor controller turned into an amp. they work fine for daily as long as you dont go below 1ohm. i use the 12k in my car daily.
low volume, they all sound the same. full tilt, its a fucking 12k. who cares about SQ? lol

sound digital daily or burp? the only reason i ask is because they look really under built but they claim there power comes from hi-voltage set up that no one else uses ? is that right ?

I believe jacob hit 150 on a single sa-8 or ev82 off a saz-3500 in a crx the box was small maybe .6-.8

How do you know what you "need"? Are you going off of manufacture recommendations or have you actually made a design and graphed it to see the response?
Also, IIRC Jacob recommends using smaller enclosures when using multiple SA-8s, as little as .3cubes per with a large amount of them...
ya i was just reading that thread . they were using 12 sa-8's tho...now to design a ported truck wedge i wont be able to give it much for port area but if it fails worse case scenario it wont take much to plug the port and be sealed

for 3 ported i need 1.8cf so it 4 sealed or 2 ported i know 2 ported wont be loud enoughWhy not 3 ported.. Seems like a space issue?

anyone use sa-8 in a sealed box was wondering what would i expect because it is not recommended for non-ported applications . i want to run 4 8's in a sealed truck box off of 1600rms i would use the ev2-8 but they only handle 200 rms and im all about hard hitting bass

I have a customer that wants to put 4 sa-8 in a 1.4cf sealed truck enclosure i advised him that the e8vs was better for sealed but he needs more power handling so what might he expected for frequency response and out-put?

You mentioned strapping on little amps. Well Jacob look at it like this. You have a way to get 1000,2000, and 3000 watts into 2 ohm loads since you only offer those wattages at 1 ohm.
Just like I love the SAZ-1500v2 you got me but I'm not running it because I don't have a combination of woofers that I can use with it to get the power I need.
Everything I have boughten in the last 10 years have been optimized for 2 ohm amps and I have no money to buy any subs right now.
I wish you had a woofer trade in program. I have a set of woofers that have one hell of a motor that I don't want but they are SPL subs with fs at 50 hertz. (2 American Bass VFL 10's) (I only have a couple burps on them) (LOL and I can't find anyone that will buy them from me)
EDIT; How about a trade for 2 of your d4 SA 12s to use with my SAZ-1500v2

im using 2 aq1200d amp linked for 2950 rms at %10 distortion Im looking for killer low end bass what options should i get and how does the flatwind coil affect the sound it says its peaky but in what way like peaky all over or just a certain high tones? im wanting two bl 12"

so i built this box and put in a cheap concept sub to test out the sound while i wait for my ssd and wow i couldn't believe how hard it hit and low.. im never buying a prefab again!!!

O.0 i have 5.5 inches and 2.09 cf before displacement to work with . I was hoping to put 4 sa-8,s behind the seat of my 06 f350 harley edition . I just became a rep for sundown here in canada and i really want to build something impressive that in a sleeper kind of way the amp will be a saz-2500 . Any suggestions ?
