i didnt find huge pvc at first because i live in a big city and homedepo and stores didnt have it but i found if i went to a store out of the city they had way more of that stuff
-
if you got a battery plus store around i would check there just ask for a high lead content duel purpose agm battery . i have found some local to me for 160 and they work great
-
ya it will be ok u might want to top them up with a charger ever now and then
-
find out from a good engine builder what block you have because i have seen some rare big blocks that can be bored a 100 over and still be strong
-
i cant think of any amps labled 1800 besides audiopipe and they are not very reliable maybe try a saz-1500 i know that it can do about 1900
-
i would say get something like a saz-1500 and one more batt or a saz-2500 with two more batts and get a volt meter on your dash
-
if you had a door or window open i can see u making 150 if your getting 144 sealed on the dash

anyone know where i can find sinewave downloads? a complete 20-90hrz would be preferred
-
its not ideal but if it works it works
-
my advice it build your box and see what you have to work with and remember to leave 1.5-1.75 inchs from the baffle for speaker clearence
-
could it be gain matching? i have seen this before when the amp was not getting enough signalthey are very tricky subs and need no break in time so i would say you need to try a differnt design
had some amplifier settings off the mark...so now they sounds pretty good but the lows dont get so much attention...i mean....i can feel 27hz so strong but when it comes to 26hz....nothing....tested with test tones and music....26hz and bellow there is nothing...subs move like crazy and no sound...just air
-
if you get the sundown sd-10 its only 4.75 and has no pole vent so it can be very close to the back of the box

the crew cab has brakets under the seat right? and the best shallow subwoofer right now is the sundown audio sd-10's and 12's imo

and it dosnt get that cold here we dont really live in igloo's lolz

xs is great but price plus shipping to canada makes it more than twice the price of a good high lead agm battery found localxs power is good for -40 Celsius weather from what i heard not trying to one better bdog just tossing tid bits around
-
and polar batteries on boundry has way better batteries then yellow tops for less and i have had problems with brand new yellow tops not holding good voltage

i live in west van and your only 30 min away at night with out traffic so if u want to meet up with me some where out here at night ill set your gains with my dd-1@B dog thanks alot man didnt know about those shows. I live in Maple Ridge. Turned the volume boost off It Deffinately got louder with that extra battery. The reason the cones heating up has to be due to low voltage guess an Alternator is in need! TeamHT gain is at 3 quarters I had everything cranked when I had my 12"s and literally listened to them for 2 years straight as loud as they could be and never once did I have a problem with the amp or anything else woofers never stunk up once! I understand what your saying. Thanks guys for the help always appreciated!

what are you planning for electrical upgrades? and what do you consider power hungry because u mentioned a 2500 rms sub in your post. and do you have a price limit on the amp or total system?
