Wow. Who ever did that has great editing skills.
-
You're not going to get great quality or loudness running off teh stock deck. No matter the speaker.
-
It wouldn't take so long if everything went right and if I always knew what I was doing. Winging it is sometimes my best answer.
-
the only thing is, thats a monster set up! would 4 cqft be enough for a pair of those beasts? thats the absolute max i can fit in aswell..... you all know how small our cars are over here!
Sealed or ported? 4 cubes is alot for two tens.

DC Level 4 10s. Audioque 2200.
^^this is good
-
So does this mean your going back to the DP 21?
-
4 ohm DVC?
He said DVC before so I would assume yes. You can wire both 15's in parallel for a 1 ohm load to the AQ.
But that kicker isn't stable at 1 ohm so you would have to run it at 4 ohms, so you are losing alot of power.
-
Yea then it would have to go beside them. Weld a bracket to the axle and then weld a bracket to the frame. Place in bag. Inflate and ride happy I would also do an easly accesable inflating nozzle like I said.
-
ok... do they basically go wherever you can fit them or what?
Coil over or leaf spring rear suspension? I think they can go wherever, but closer to the outside is better.
-
I don't think you will find a kit for your car. They weren't really built for towing so I dont think anyone will have a kit. Unless you buy a "universal" kit. In which case I might rather make it myself.
-
They wont tighten down? Autozone have battery post shims to make it tighter. Have you tried those?
-
You could put a pair of bags in there for sure. Not sure how it would affect your ride though. I would also rig a quick connect fill nozzle in an easy location so you can fill/deflate them it you ever need to, or if they leak over time.
Do you have the tools and know how to make brackets to hold the bags?
-
Are you installing for your friends? As in people who won't bring you to court? What if they just pay you in a case of beer?
-
Why would I listen to a bass tester while driving?
-
looks like there sold to another guy closer to me for $650 for just the 4 subs
hopefully he dosent back out so i can get my XLs paid for and start the waiting game
Man I really hate that game I never win
-
This is going to be good
-
I was actually kinda scared there. Didn't see that coming.
-
You need 150+ post to sell here. Sorry
-
The stock HU could have been throwing out a distorted signal. Did you have any bass going to the speakers?
-
well i figured it out,,, it was the ignition switch guess my car dosnt have an ACC ignition position so i just have to connect it to the battery wire, thanks though lol
Wouldn't it be on 24/7 then and drain your battery?
-
Wait so you would get rid of your air conditioning completely?
-
I have done it before. You should be good.

A sheet of MDF is only like $35 bucks. So building multiple boxes shouldn't be an issue.
I use the RE box calculator on simple boxes. It's easy to understand and tells you all the cuts. (The red text are the numbers you can change. Just mess with different sizes. Port widths, and port lengths until you get the tunign you want.)

40 hertz is also a little high for my taste. I would do 35.
