Hi Guys, I had a protective plastic / vinyl type film put over the lid of my ute about 7 years ago. I'm wanting to remove it because the plastic has scratches etc in it. I'm having a really hard time removing it though, when it comes off it's very dry, and brittle. So it's only pulling off a few inches at a time and I have an entire lid to do. Which is 65% of the ute. Any suggestions for removing it? I've tried heating it up but it only sticks more.. I also CANNOT ruin the pain as the pain under is still in brand new order because it's been protected for 7 years. Cheers.

Hi Mate, Can you please post what type of box you would like (eg: Ported, Sealed, Bandpass etc) what subwoofer you're using, and the dimensions you have to work with at the most and what type of bass you're looking for, sound quality, deep bass, one note wonder etc. Then I'm sure we can work something out for you. I've seen / heard plenty of high quality cars. I've never once seen this, and never thought of doing it. Honestly it looks stupid, even if it sounded good it looks bad. I dont see why anyone would bother. That's probably why people do not know about it.

Guys ever seen this type of setup? Was looking through some classified ads and noticed it.. Thought it looked a bit strange. Wouldn't they cancel each other out? I dont know much about bandpass. If this is what you call this box....

Is this amp stable @ 0.5 OHM? Also do you have anyone who can ship to Australia. Thanks

Was just doing some math, if I'm right I can wire 3 of these subs in parallel and see a 0.67OHM load and in series / parallel id see 2.67 so either i need to find an amp that can run all day at 0.67ohm or find an amp that can power them at 2.67 all day with 4000wrms man this is harder than i thought..

yeah but the current amps i have are seeing around 700 - 800 rms I want more power ;P haha i think it's impossible to find an amp to run 3000wRMS+ @ 2.77ohm

Well when I order them I order them in 2OHM but stupidly the guy who I order them from put 4OHM so I'm stuck with 3 4OHM dual VC subs.. They would see 2.66ohm if wired together..

im not an expert in car audio im a IT guy with too big of a paycheck and like my music loud heres some of the car.. it isn't finished still a lot of fibreglass work to do bahaha theres a lot better on this forum but it isnt close to finished still lots o work! but its completely built into the car braces with steel beams! half roll cage holding it in going to upgrade subs eventually.. JUST NEED A GOOD AMP!

well I haven't bought it yet, I could get one amp that can power all the subs. Got any recommendations? I'm running 3 L7 15's I'd like at lest 1250RMS going to each as it's a daily.. if I blow one I dont care I can replace it but I'm in Australia so shit is limited as hell. got any ideas? got 900 AUD sitting in my bank now and my dollar is worth more at the moment so I've got 3 dollars extra! ;P

So, I'm ordering a kicker 2500.1 tonight.. I usually run 3 kicker L7's figured why not save a bit of money and buy a 2500.1 and a 1500.1 run 2 off the 2500 and one off the 1500.. anyone foresee any issues here? I'm afraid one might be pounding harder than the other and cause issues.

I need the highest output possible @ idle I'm not sure if your prices have changed recently. I don't mind modding. As long as it isn't to extreme but I need to be 100% sure it will fit my car. Hey guys, need advice on running 5000wRMS. What am I looking at for electrical? I live in Australia so the only thing available are yellow tops and DCpower or mechman alts. Have big 3 done have enough 0 gauge to choke a building so working out what else I'm looking at. I know it isn't a lot to most of you, but I'm limited with funds at the moment. Blew it all on my previous build. This is for another car of mine which also isn't done.. haha.

Hey Mate, As much as DC Power sounds good, I'm over waiting on them. They keep dodging me around. Telling me, " Were just waiting on a new alternator that will be perfect for your car! Will be done next week! " 5 months later I'm still waiting and they keep giving me the same over and over. My build has been pretty much waiting on an alternator and a few other things to be finished. I'm running about 7,500watts RMS and I need something that will fit my car. Hi Guys, Having a bit of trouble here. My box size; 38" Wide 35" High 25" Depth 1 30" Depth 2 I was going to tune it to 33hz unless someone thinks I should tune otherwise to something more / less. Running 3 kicker L7's but currently have square ports currently but was going to convert them into Triangle thought it would look a lot better. I'm going for pure SPL not SQL in the least. Can someone help me work out the sizes? I've tried doing the math it's fairly simple but for some reason I dont think I'm doing it right. Here is the current box, this was a picture taken last weekend. Its not even close to done. Thanks in advanced, hope someone can help.

Thanks for the info mate. I will be calling them ASAP and get some prices. I'm still buying the L7's just because it's a really good deal.. I'm also going to buy a project car soon just for audio projects. So will be doing something crazy. Yeah thanks for the heads up mate. I'm going with the L7's for now. When I take a trip back to America later this year I'll bring back some stuff with me. ;]

Yeah I've decided I'll go the L7's and.. If I don't like them well. I'll import some DC's or SMDs and at least have a decent system while I'm waiting on them. Now 4 L7's or 3 haha..
