  1. for reall I will hit you up, one of the guys I met is from tulsa or right outside of it. So I will def hit you up one day. Are you going to that big car show this weekend, in lawton, if so be looking for my car and a bunch of bagged trucks around it(the guys I am going w/ have bagged trucks). but hit me up if your are going. -steven-
  2. and does he ever get to come home, he wouldn't have ime to especially in a big rig. it took me 7 hours to drive 500 miles at about 80mph the whole trip
  3. nobody is complaining about driving, I enjoyed it but I also like having a little scenery too man. and you don't have to drive 1000 miles a day to be a truck driver, he just does that because he prolly gets paid by the mile so you can't really use that as an example.
  4. yeah they have regular tunes on the radio station, actually there is a good mix station once you get to w/in an hour of oklahoma city. I just put on the ipod and pressed shuffle play, so it would be random, also korn's greatest hits cd, my frank sinatra live cd's, and my johnny cash remakes cd's helped out. The johnny cash one is badass it has rusty cage, hurt, and other recent rock songs and stuff he did in his own style. So the trip wasn't bad w/ the tunes, plus at the gas stations I stopped at there always seemed to be a couple of hot chicks to talk to and oggle at. -steven-
  5. yeah for a little bit there was some pretty rock faces on the side of the road, but then nothing, haha, especially when I got on 44 and it turned into the turnpikes. -steven-
  6. haha, sometimes driving I would get a hill and get kind of excited. No but literally I could see for 3-4 miles sometimes when driving, it was a clear day so I could see everything. -Steven-
  7. thanks, like I said the first one I have did, plus it was kind of easy except getting around the rer air ducts. So hopefully I will be doing more of these, that means easy money. Easy money is always good money, haha. -steven-
  8. I am still up in oklahoma, been trying to find time to post this up. so here it is. My trip to oklahoma. after I left St.louis, it was nothing no civilization only a few scattered little towns, until I hit oklohoma city. I tryed to snap pics, but driving at 75+ and taking a pic doesn't mix to well, haha. here is my lil trip package that I can grab what I need while driving. my scenery for most of the trip some bigass house or something maybe a country club, all I know is I seen a few benz's, bmw's, and cadillac's around it, it was big and tight whatever it was though. and of course I had to take a picture of the first carl's jr. I have ever seen, haha. -steven-
  9. well it was scary, but I work on mine and they aren't cheap cars so I am kind of used to it, plus I got a steady hand so not to scary. Trust me it was hella heavy, it was crazy. -steven-
  10. got an avic-d3 the other day installed it, will post pics of the install when I finish the plexi for the dash and trim ring. more goodies and pictures coming this week also, told you it is going to be a drawn out process, but I got lots of stuff to do and then gotta make time to work on my grand prix. gator interior and suede planned for july or around there, just figured I would let you know that. It won't be as high dollar as chickens escalade but it will be classy. -Steven-
  11. It was a 15.1" directed electronics monitor with built in dvd player that was removable and could be used outside vehicle. The resolution was clear as heck on this thing. It was pretty scary cutting up a 45,000 dollar headliner, plus getting around the rear ac on this was a bitch. I thought it came out good though tell me what you guys think. I have also been busy putting in my new avic-d3 navi double din, yeah there is better out there but it looks almost stock, plus is easy to use. I might go w/ the z2 later but not for now. I will post up pics once I am finished making the plexi trim ring for it. tying into the wires under the dash wasn't to fun either, not much room to work w/ down there, plus my big azz was pretty uncomfortable for most of the install. Funny how such a big luxury suv has almost no room in it front or back. I guess that is why I favor the escalade over the navigator. sneak peak of my avic-d3, yeah I know they are overdone, but that is not the point. The point is to look stock but real good and classy also. they need to include at least backstrapping in these though, I mean there is no type of mounting harware that comes with it. -steven-
  12. oh well doesn't matter who I am talkin to now but I am sure you know who, I just thought yall were gonna start a "no they aren't, yes they are", fight for a second like some second graders. -Steven-
  13. whatever man quit actin like a child and arguing that way. They are type-r's,that is all that matters and the design really hasn't changed that much man other than the fancy grille and pointy cone. -Steven-
  14. yeah I am actually typin on my laptop right now just to get used to it since I will be gone for a lil while and have to use it as my primary one. man, this is gonna suck oh well at least I have a fast ass laptop to make up for the dial up I am goin to have to use while I am gone. -Steven-
  15. Yeah apple may rip on vista, but basically its only problem is being new so a lot of older software clashes w/ it and has slight problems. I love vista really and I am prolly gonna switch my personal computer out w/ a newer vista based computer and then also have the gaming computer that steve will prolly end up building for me but that won't be for a lil while, at least 4 months. -Steven-
