I am talkin amperage and watts, volts really mean nothing to me as all I will be using it for is my power wire for my system, and if my system is running off of 600 volts let alone 20 I have got a problem. So how much amperage and watts can it handle, as stated in my first post in the topic.

I could scroung up some pics, but they were taken before I had my digi so I got to find a scanner.
it will take me a while to track down one (scanner) but I will throw them in here once I do

How much cureent and wattage can 2/0 welding cable hold? I am going to be having about 4000 watts, and 425-470 amps of current. Will the welding wire that is 2/0 on ebay hold this.
Thanks,
Steven

I was sponsored, but not sponsored like most people think. It is what Memphis reps call a sponsorship, that is why I had it in quotes. The sponsorship was through my friends audio shop, and all I had to do was agree to do a couple of shows a season, at least 5, and put memphis decals on my vehichle, and use everything memphis except the source unit. I had to use memphis everything down to the last wire. the system wasn't anything special just 2 mojo 12's running almost the minimum amount of power to get the pounding 2 memphis m-class mcd1000's (should've went with mk4kw, but that was my mistake) m-class mca3004, and m-class mca150, 2 runs of 1/0, and all m-class components front and rear. I could scroung up some pics, but they were taken before I had my digi so I got to find a scanner. I could ask them if they could hook me up with all 2/0 stuff, but I have lost my leway with them since my friend's shop is just a cell phone place, that does occasional installs now and then. Is there a place that I can get the stuff online that is actually 2/0 or is my friends shop or rigging 1/0 terminals my last option.
-
I thought to be sponsored by rf you had to use all rf stuff, except source unit. That is how it is normally, I used to be "sponsored" by memphis when I had memphis in my silverado, but even then I still had to pay for the stuff (even though it was next to nothing).
I just want to know how to get the stuff, I could care less about anything else though. I just want to know where to buy connectors, fuses, wires and everything else.
-
For my next install I need to get at least 6 battery terminals for 2/0, at least 25 ft of wire, fuse holders, distro blocks (or should I make a bus bar?), ring terminals and all the other goodies and accesories. Also will 2/0 be enough for 4000(3700 really but the amp are a bit underated) watts and 425 to 500 amps current draw. If you could point me in the right direction, I found the fuse holders (http://www.donrowe.com/accessories/fuse_anl.html). Hey I say it doesnt have to be pretty as long as it works, right.
I wouldn't be asking this question if verizon wouldn't have bought out my firends audio store (he sold cell phones too, and he was the only real audio shop in town, the rest are like best buy and home of the one wire fire) and it being a new year and him being not a real shop anymore, they wouldn't renew his dealer app. At least memphis is letting him stay on (I still get to order my favorite component sets still). Anyways, do you buy local? straight from rockford?
Thanks

That is why I was making fun of him! He thinks because he has an alarm he is safe. haha, if only that were true. He keeps putting his foot in his mouth to, that is what is funny. Normally I just give up on internet pissing matches, because there is no point, but in this douches case I will make an exception.
-
I know x1,000,000.
I wonder if his car is parked outside one day and "his top of the line clifford alarm" doesn't protect his stuff, will he have the same attitude? Probably not he will probably be on the same forum crying about it.
-
Yeah I get your point, I just figured, I would let you know, because everybody on this forum is my boys. I got to let them know what is up when people say stuff about them, especially when they say something like " they deserve to get their s**t stolen". Your also right about the honda looking good.

Whenever I get back up to Illnois, I will let everyone know about what I can do on these. I know I can get the 4kw for around 1k bux to 1.1k bux. The team rf subs are around 280-300 for 12's and 325-350 for 15's. It should be about 2-3 weeks before I get back to Illinois, because I am taking care of business down in Alabama. Talk to everyone soon I hope.

dude the smallest amp I got would blow those subs right out of my truck, haha, word get your punch z's outta here.

Oh my bad, I thought the T2 was the biggest rf made now. I know that TRF is in a class of its own, I had 2 power Hx2 12" in my truck in a downfiring ported and it was bad(good), so when I found out I could get the competition woofers from my friend, I had to ask what people thought about them. Do they still use the old design in newer team rf woofers, or something, I havn't seen any rf subs lately at shows?
-Steven-
-
Lets put it this way I can get them cheaper than rf's punch series equipment, and 4kw I can get for what a 1kw would be. They are new too.
-Steven-

Have you guys heard any of the team rf 12" hit? The old style before they switched to the chitty t2 style for it, noffense to anyone running t2's. I wanna if they are badass or what for serious loudness. And just so some of you who think I am talkin about power hx2's, no I am not, I am talking about the ones Team Rockford Fosgate used in their sponsored teams. Anyways I can get a hell of a deal on them and a couple rockford 4kw, yay or nay? Any Ideas on any other 4kw amps, or badass 12's, Let me know.

Not trying to be a dick but, I did a search and it came up w/ hi-fi soundblasters, head-fi, tnt audio, and every other thing other than fi audio's website. I don't ask a question w/o research, what would be the point of research then? Just do a search on yahoo and type in fi audio, then see what comes up. also type in fi audio btl subwoofers in the search engine yahoo and see what that comes up with.
Sorry bro, for inconveniencing you for asking a question that doesn't need a smart elic answer.
Thanks for evrybody elses help tho

Thanks,

How come I see a bunch of people running re mt's but not a lot of people running xxx's? Aren't they supposed to be more badass than the mt's, or am I just mistaken? Any of you guys run either of them in the 12" versions?

Hifonics are decent if you havent dealt with decent car audio before, but my friend bought some for his system and I installed them. It was a bxi1206 and it was very sensitive to having to long of a ground, normally I can get away w/ 11 inch ground ( I know shorter is better, but mounting options sometimes limit shortness) but this amp didnt even like a 6 inch ground, it finally liked the 4 inch ground we ended up with it was horrible. I think 2 sundown audio saz1500's would be good for your system. Check out soundsolutionsaudio.com, kluvkustoms.com, and I think there is another one but not sure.
