  1. Look at his other videos, all about his subs. and I noticed the "watch the windows" is cut off the beginning of the video... hmm is he trying to fool people into thinkin its his subs

    Maybe its just me lol

I am pretty sure this guy is a member here, and a member on another forum I am a part of, so we should be hearing from him soon. I'm not trying to say he isn't trying to fool people, but the only comment on that vid is "subs rippin it up", not something like "my subs ripping it up". That exact video is on this site, so he didn't cut anything out of it either. Although It is funny how he posted that video, when I know it is already on youtube and this site.

  2. looks great. Just curios do you have any vids of the 10.

No but I will get a clip of it, I think my digi can do like a 20-30 sec video, hopefully longer tho. I will post tommorow, when I take and then figure how to upload it to photobucket. Is uploading a video to photobucket, just like a pic? I know a bunch about electronics, but I am still learnin all the ins and out of posting photo's and now vids.

  3. I promised you guys more pics, and I forgot but its only been a day so anyways here you go.

Like I said this is only temporary and a fast install just to get the sundowns that have been in my house for little over a month in my car and test them out and I seem to like them they are a little different from memphis and other brands, but its a good different. For instance instead of like 3 different allen keys to install all the wires, you only need one phillips screwdriver.

Here is my sp1700 from my truck that I am trying to find a place for, I don't really need because I have 2 more sp100's in my collecting dust I can use.

I know you are thinking why are the grounds on the car floor, the answer is the gas tank is right below where they are!

    20songranprix006.jpg

here is the lil 10" q, asking for more even with the approx. 1600 watts I am running to it.

    20songranprix005-1.jpg

The clarion flip-out, flipped out and closed. I usually ride with it closed, just because. This is probably going to be replaced soon w/ a panasonic double din, because it has 5v preouts and looks cooler (I think).

Well that is all I got to show right now, The underbdies install and all other neons and cathodes will be coming soon, and the the reall system will be coming after that. I will keep you all posted.

  4. Haha I have changed amps and everything I don't know how much, I need to start a for sale post and get rid of all my extra shit. Don't sell yourself short, I like your setup It is nice and especially nice for a 16 y/o. My first "real" system was 2 8" kicker subs, sony 4x6 coaxials, sony 6.5" coaxials, and a middle of the line pioneer in a reg cab silverado. Course that was a long time ago. You are doing a great job with what you have.

  5. Ok so this is all I have for right now. This is ver temporary, and I don't plan on it being in the car for that long. Don't worry though, me and meade knows what is eventually going in this, so again don't worry it won't be to long.

    I threw this together.

    20songranprix004.jpg

    20songranprix005.jpg

this is when I threw it in there to test everything, wires are cleaned up now, will post pics later on today.

  6. I got my stuff today and it is tight I am sporting the dickies shirt right now, man, I like the way it fits! It is my new fav shirt. Well actually all of them are my new fav shirt, and beanie. haha. And thanks for the fi stickers, scott didn't send me any with my bl's, so I was hoping I could get some. I wasted the one that came with my q. As soon as I get my tint, I will be sporting the website on my ride. Oh and I hope you at least make some money, that way we can talk you into some jackets and hoodies. Better yet you'll probably will make money. at least off my ass, ha. I am going to have another order for a couple more dickies shirts and long sleeves, but first I got to catch up on my laundry after all them shirts I ordered.

  7. oh yeah I meant to show you all this. Look at what happened to one my stock rims. This what salt does to vehicles, at least I hope that was done by road salt. Oh, well I get a new one for free, because it's under warranty still.

    20songranprix001-1.jpg

This wasn't due to my neglect, I have only had the car for 3 months, it was the previous owner. I just had to clarify that so you know I don't mistreat my rims. haha

    -Steven-

  8. I know something else thats on its way soon that will go good with that car ;)

That alone is gonna drop the car a couple of inches, haha.

The eibach kit is on it's way to me as I type this, I am pretty sure they said it is a 1.6 up front, and a 1" in back. I say who cares as long as it closes the gap! Next, I gotta find a good tinter in this area, my guy moved away to Florida and he was the only one around that didn't leave gaps; I might have to do it myself.

    -Steven-

edit: it is a 1.8" in back, even better.

  9. sorry for the dirty ass car and rims, but I took it for a test ride before i snapped pics, and Illinois weather has been suckass the past few weeks minus 4-5 days spread throughout. Anyways I had been waiting on zissers to get me my lugs, and then finally ryan calls me and tells me they are in. So I run to st. louis pick the lugs up and the run home and slap them on and tada like magic a better looking grand prix. Oh and dont worry all new eibach struts, swaybar, shocks, etc. are on there way to me so I can lower this donk down now. Anyways sorry for the long read, here it is a dirtass grand prix on 20" zenetti stellas on 245/35/20 lexani tires (they were out of nexxan radian's, and its the same tire made by the same company just a diff name so i took 'em.)

    What do y'all think?

  10. how many cubic ft. is your box? ist it 1 chamber, or each one has seperate chambers? What is the box tuned to?

These woofers really sound great in pairs, 2 was enough for me in my silverado, 2 15mojo's were enough for my buddy's tahoe. Even the memphis rep for my buddy's store is running 2 15's on a 2kw in his expedition. I was running 2 1100.1's on mine, he was running 1 4kw on his pair. My opinion try 2 on 1 4kw for daily and for comp's throw the 2nd 4kw in there. Oh yeah, I am pretty sure memphis reccomends at least 2.5 cubes per sub, tuned to 40 hz to get the most out of these subs.

    -Steven-

  11. I just sold my ext cab lt z71 99 silverado, so I am mainly focusing on getting the gtp done. You guys help me out and find me an suv, so I can build a ground pounder. I would like a tahoe like steve's because most of my silverado's stuff will fit on that. Any kind of suv will do, but I would prefer a tahoe, and it has to be a newer one 2001 and up. I have about 25,000 to work with on just the car but lower the price the better. I have been checking ebay everyday, but I figured I would ask you guys to keep an eye out for me to. POST THE LINKS OR INFO UP ON THIS AND HELP OTHERS OUT TO I am sure I am not the only one looking.

  12. well its prolly like a 40 hr drive from here so I might as well drive the extra 7 hours to sac too. I think they said it was 35-36 hours from here to just the border of CA. I don't like to fly anymore, so that is out because after my trip to Hawaii, 4.5 hour flight to LAX, 3.5 hour layover, 4 hour flight from LAX to Wakiki Beach, then had to do it again on the way back.  All that plus no sleep whatsoever, and me being a big guy does not equal fun.  Needless to say I freaking partied till I couldnt party no more, then got some starbucks, cuz there is starbucks everywhere in Wakiki. Also buses are out because I might go insane riding and not driving for that long.

  13. as you can see, all pitbulls are horrible dogs and need to be abollished.....yeah right, i think we need to worry about cats......

I know you were just kidding, but that is the way most people think.

Whats wierd is national statistics for dogbites use anything that has an ounce of pitbull in a dog, in the pitbull statistics, but not the other part(s) they are mixed with. Also it has been proven that dogs like poodles are more prone to biting you than an actual full-blooded apbt(american pit-bull terrier).  Just thought I would throw that out there.
