  1. I'm going cheap now because all I have is $100. I need shallow mount because I need to put it in the back of the cab of my truck and still be able to carry passengers. I think I'm going to go with the paire of Boss's that way I can keep one and sell the other and make most of my money back. This is what I think I'm going to go with: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_18996_Boss_Audio_D10F.aspx http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_17920_Visonik_V108XT.aspx What do you think?
  2. It needs to be shallow mount. I've come across a paire of Boss shallow mount 10" for just over $100 with shipping and duties. Good enough for now or?
  3. I need some bass in my truck! I have little money to spend. I want to get a temporary shallow mount 10" sub, untill I get enough money to get a good one. That way When I get the good 10" alls I will have to do is swap them.
  4. Steve, I've asked around the forum what I should get in terms of 2 8" subs for my doors and 1 10" sub for the back (I drive a Mazda B3000) and people have been saying I should go with one or the other. More saying go with the 10". The subs need to be shallow mount. I came across a ROCKFORD FOSGATE P3-SD210. What do you think I should do?
  5. What is the best size box for the Rockford Fosgate P3-SD210 Shallow mount 10"?
  6. I just found a Rockford Fosgate P3-SD210 Shallow mount 10" is it good? Also what amp would be best to power it. Here are the specs from the seller: Type Component: Size 10" Impedance: 2Ohms Voice Coil(s): Dual Sensitivity: 83dB Peak Power Handling: 600 Watts RMS Power Range: 300 Watts Free-Air: No Surround Material: Poly ether ester Cone Material: Kevlar reinforced fiber Frequency Response: 45 - 250Hz Xmax: 10-13/16mm Fs: 45Hz For the price this may be the one
  7. LOL! No I'm putting... well was going to be putting an 8" in each door. Now I think I'm going to start with the 10" then see what happens. Ok so what do you guys recomend I should use as a shallow mount 10"?
  8. I'm still trying to find a good 10" + and amp to power it. the only thing is the 10 needs to be shallow mount and under $200, peferrably under $100 but i know that's pushing it.
  9. Lol I gess that would help. Sorry. The 8"s are Rockford Fosgate P2D48 (pair): Peak: 800 watts RMS: 400 watts Impedance: Dual 4 ohms As for the 10" I still haven't found the "one" yet.
  10. I still need help figuring out which amp to use with the two 8" and which one to use with the 10", I still need to find.
  11. For sure I'll post pics, I've already custom made the front pillars and stuck a 3" tweeter in. Now I just need to finish the rest.
  12. I just found a pair of Rockford Fosgate P2D48 for $172.84 tax + shipping included. I think these might be my 8"...
  13. I already upgraded the stock system, and now I want that little bit extra. I'll admit I want to customize my doors.
  14. The reason for the 8" in the doors is the fact that space is very limited. That's why I'm going with the 8" in the doors and the single 10" in the back.
  15. Ok here is my situation. I currently have a Mazda B3000 with two kicker DS6930 6x9 in the back and a pair of JVC 6.5" and 3" tweeters up front. I planing on putting an 8" sub in each door followed by a 10" in the back. What I need help with is witch 8" and 10" would be good. I'm looking for shallow mount. Here are a few that I have found and am interested in. - Kicker CVT10 - Kicker CVT8 - MB Quart RLP254 They are the few in my price range of under 200$. As for amps I know nothing. So If any one could give me there opinion on witch subs and amp I should go with would be nice. One thing to keep in minde is I don't have a lot of cash, but am willing to spend what is necessary to get a good sounding system. THANK YOU!
  16. I would leave the arm rest in. That way it's stylin' and comfertable. thumbs up on getting 3 10" in there.
